A couple days after finding out about the engagement, my mother got all of our stuff and packed it into her car. After saying goodbye to my grandparents we were off.

Halfway through the ride, I finally asked my mother, "Where are we going?"

"David asked us if we would like to move in with him. I thought it would be a great idea since we will be living with him after the marriage. Anyways, he said he had something to show the both of us."

As soon as she finished talking, we pulled into the driveway of a medium sized cottage. My mother beeped the horn and turned off the car to get me out of my car seat. As she walked towards the front door, David opened the door and let us in. We walked into the house and my mother sat me down on the couch.

While I waited, my mother and David got all of our things out of the car. David took all of my things while my mother picked me up and followed David up the steps.

They entered a bedroom and laid me down in the crib. As they started unpacking my things, I noticed that David had a stick in his hand and he was unpacking things while my mother wasn't watching. I stood up in my crib and looked at David.

Halfway through my things, I finally spoke up. "What's that stick in your hands for?"

"Oh um... I was going to tell you guys about that. Well you see I'm a wizard!"

"David you are quite the catch! So why are you actually carrying a stick of wood?"

"I'm telling you the truth. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before, but I had to keep it a secret. If you don't believe me, just watch!" With those words, we watched him wave the stick, and watched my favorite stuffed animal float in the air.

He slowly let it fall back down and looked towards my mother who had a look of horror and amazement on her face. My mother dragged David out of the room and closed the door. I heard my mother yelling on the other side and David trying to calm her down.

A couple minutes later, I got bored listening to my mothers yelling. I looked around my room and saw my blanket over on the nightstand. I concentrated on it and watched it float over to me like David did earlier. The door opened and I heard a shriek. My mother ran over to me and picked me up. I lost concentration and my blanket fell to the ground.

David walked in and my mother finally lost it. She started screaming at him and I just cried.

When it was finally quiet, I looked at my mother and said, "He didn't do it, I did it."

"What? B-but how?"

"Margaret, I think your daughter is a witch. Who was her father?"

"His name was Sirius, but he never said that he was a wizard or anything like that!"

"Sirius Black! He was one of my best mates at Hogwarts."
