Into Another World

Chapter 17

The morning before the holiday break, I again got into trouble with the Weasley twins. We were never caught before, but their is a once for everything.

That morning we decided to play another prank on our good friend, our victim since day one, Filch.

Looking at the time, I saw that breakfast would be starting in ten minutes. Letting the twins know we got to work on our plan. Everyday at 7:45, Filch would walk into the great hall to get breakfast. After grabbing his breakfast, he would go to his office to eat.

I grabbed the worms that I gathered from the greenhouse the day before and we walked down to our victims office. Taking a look at his door, we tried to open it but it was locked. Peeves saw us and gave us a knowing look. Floating through the door, he unlocked it for us and said that he would create a diversion for Filch when we needed it.

Hurrying into the office, we hid. I hid under Filch's desk so I could put the worms in his sandwich quickly when he wasn't looking. As Filch walked into his office, Peeves saw Fred flash a tiny light from his wand and that's when the plan went into action. Peeves went down the corridor and all that was heard was a loud crash.

Filch stood up and ran out of his office. I put the worms in his sandwich and we ran out of his office. Halfway out of his office, he came back and caught us. We ran for our lives back to the great hall losing him quickly.

After that long and entertaining breakfast, Filch walked into the great hall. He was on the lookout for us! He scanned all of the students and skipped right over me and the twins. With a sigh, we thought we were in the clear. But that was not the case.

Filch walked up to Dumbledore and told him that he ate worms. With little giggles from us we looked back up. That was a mistake because Filch caught us staring. He hurried down to us and that was our que to leave. We ran out of the great hall and up to our common room. Ten minutes of waiting, Professor McGonagall came into the room and looked at us.

"Now I know it is almost the holidays, but what you did is completely irresponsible! Fifteen points will be taken from Gryffindor. If it happens again, you will each have a detention."

With that she left the common room. I gave a sigh and walked up to my dorm. I decided I should finish packing while the twins do who knows what.

The next morning, I grabbed my bag and headed down to the entrance hall. Waiting with everyone else, I said a quick see you later to all my friends and told them I would get them presents. Finally hopping onto the Hogwarts express, I was on my way home.

After many hours, I was home and I collapsed on my bed. My mother and father were discussing something downstairs while I was stuck with Lily. Telling Lily everything about Hogwarts, she got so excited and couldn't wait to go in two years.

Reminding me that she would be going to Hogwarts, I decided that I should tell Fred and George that we should prank her on her first day. After thinking for a little bit, I came to realize that she would be in the same year as the famous Harry Potter and the Weasley twins little brother.

Waking up on Christmas was the best feeling ever. I smelt the amazing breakfast my mother was making and decided to head downstairs. Eating a quick breakfast, I walked into the living room where all the presents were. Looking at them, it reminded me of what I got my friends. I couldn't wait to see them when I got back.

Sitting on the hardwood floor, I picked up my first present and opened it. Like every Christmas, we opened our presents and then we got ready to go to our grandparents house.

After this wonderful Christmas Day, I couldn't wait to go back to school.
