A week after Oliver woke up, It was the weekend and most classes were giving us a break from homework since it was almost the holidays. Reading my favorite book, Distant Waves, Fred and George walked over to me and rudely interrupted my reading.

Looking up at them they gave me innocent smiles. Putting my book down I gave them my signature 'What do you want' look.

"So Delilah, do you want to officially be our pranking buddy?" They asked in unison.

With a small smile and sigh, I of course answered yes. Giving them a high five, we planned out our first prank. It was of course going to be on Filch the Caretaker of the castle. Rushing into my room to get some things, we decided on what we wanted and what we didn't want. Picking out some ink and a couple of flowers from my bouquet I got the other day, we walked out of the common room. Knowing that Filch would be near the entrance hall, we hurriedly walked there.

On the way there, we ran into Peeves the trouble making ghost. He looked at us and then grinned. With an evil laugh he finally yelled, "Students in the corridor! Students out of their common rooms!"

With a groan we ran for our lives. Peeves didn't follow us which was good. We quickly found Filch's office and put the ink on the top of the door. Finding a fan, we attached a string to the door handle. When Filch opens the door, the ink will fall onto him, then the string will turn on the switch. Having the flowers placed in front of the fan, they would then blow onto Filch and stick to him. I know it's pretty amateur but hey it's our first prank!

Hurrying out of the room, we closed the door slowly so not to mess up the prank and we hid around the corner. We had a perfect view of the office.

Finally I caught sight of Filch rounding the corner. Mrs. Norris was right behind him. It was perfect! He slammed open the door complaining about Peeves.

Once the door opened, the ink fell and went everywhere. The fan turned on and then the flowers were sticking to his hair and clothes. Filch looked stunned. He ran out of his office and we quickly hid behind the wall.

He caught sight of my hand on the side of the wall and he started walking closer. I saw an exit that led to the stairs and I dragged the twins with me. Seeing where the stairs led I climbed up them. We rushed up the stairs until we made it up to our common room. Before entering the portrait, Peeves appeared in front of us laughing.

"I saw what you did to Filch. It was bloody brilliant!"

With those words, we entered the common room. I was extremely tired from the running and said a quick goodnight to my best friends.

Walking into the dorm, I did my usual and fell asleep wishing for my family. I just wanted Christmas to be here already!
