Until We Meet Again

Chapter 26

The son was just focusing on his phone, not noticing us coming. But when he did notice us,his eyes widened and straight away stand up alongside his parents and shook hands with my parents and then to me and Shay.

"Oh welcome! You finally came! It's been so long omg!" The woman says while hugging my mom. My mom hugs her back tightly. They must be pretty close friends. My Dad and the guy shook hands as if they were doing business, but then they talked casually.

"Oh and these must be your daughters. My, they are very pretty. Hello. You can call me Johannah. Oh and this is my son, Louis." The son, named Louis, perked his head up at us and smiled.

I have to admit, he looks familiar.

Soon we all sat down and ordered our food. I sat across from him while Shay sat in the extra chair. It was very awkward since we 3 weren't saying anything but our parents seem to be in their own world. It became awkward throughout eating, but even when we are done eating, our parents are still talking.

"So...I haven't caught your names." Louis suddenly says. "Oh right. I'm Rosaline and this is Shay." I say.

"Rosaline? That sounds familiar." Louis says. "Yeah..and surprisingly you look familiar. I feel like I've seen you somewhere." I say.

I notice his expression looks a bit worried. But soon it's back to normal. "Oh. I don't know, must just be your feeling." I just nod.

"So..got any ideas to do here?" He asks. Me and Shay just shrugged. "Gosh you guys are no fun." He scoffs.

"Hey!" Shay says. "Come on. Let's walk around." He says, already standing up from his seat making our parents look at his direction.

"Umm..me and the girls are going to look around if that's okay?"

Johannah says, "Oh sure. And you went here with your car right? You can go home if you want. We'll be quite long here."

We just nod and follow Louis out of the restaurant.

"So...you guys seriously got no idea what to do here?" Louis asks as we are walking to who knows where.

"We could go to arcade." "We could go shopping." Me and Shay says at the same time. Louis looks at us curiously. "Are you guys twins?" He asks.

Shay and I giggle at him. "Yes. Yes we are." Shay says. I look at her for a moment, but just went along with it. "Ah, that explains you guys look a bit alike. Somehow." He says understandingly. I try my best not to laugh.

"Let's just go to the arcade." Louis says, and we just follow him.

We decided to play a game where we shoot basketballs to a hoop and try to get a lot of points to keep going to the next stage. Sadly we only made it to stage 2.

After that we decided to tried a dance game. It's only for 2 players so we took turn since we are given 3 stages.

On the first stage, was me and Louis. Apparantly Louis wan't really a good dancer. Me and Shay kept on laughing at his movements to copy the person on the screen. I ended up winning. Second stage was me and Shay. Well, our scores were pretty close...but I still won. Last stage, was just Shay and Louis. Based on the other 2 stages, it was obvious that Shay was going to win. But...I could tell she pretended to be bad so he could win.

"Wow you two are a natural." Louis says. "Aw thanks Louis you weren't so bad yourself." I say, lying.

"I almost got a zero, until Shay suddenly pretended to fail. Yes, I saw that Shay." Louis says. Shay laughed out loud. "Hey, it's not my fault you suck." Shay says.

He touch his chest and pretended that he got shot in the heart. "Ouch Shay. Why you gotta be so mean?" He says, laughing a bit. "I'll show you guys what I'm really good at." Louis says while walking towards the bumping cars ralley.

I got scared as we finally made it to the front of the line. "Umm...I can't drive that thing." I say. Eventhough I passed my drivers license, I can't seem to be able to control the bumper cars. Both of them looked to me and laughed. "Well that makes my job easier to beat you." Louis says.

"How about you can either sit with Shay or me, or you can just wait there and watch us..alone." he says. I'm pretty sure I do not want to just sit alone awkwardly there, just watching them. "I'll join one of you." I say, but then try to think of the advantages and disadvantages I'll get from sitting with either Shay or Louis.

"How about, since you guys are dancing queens, you can sit together." Louis suggested. We agree with that, and soon I was sitting next to Shay on a yellow bumper car. Shay was holding the steering wheel of course.

When the cars started moving around, I looked around for Louis who was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly we got a very hard bump, and I almost hit my head. I look to the back and spot Louis giving us a smirk. He was in a bright red car and he was happily bumping a lot of cars. I feel like he bumps card very hard. Much more harder than a normal person would do. I have never felt that kind of bump before. When we tried aiming to bump his car, he seens to be able to get away from us and we are the ones that got hit by him. I felt kinda sick after we got our of the cars.

"Woohoo! Did you see that? I totally beat you guys. Guess I am the bumping king" Louis says. Me and Shay giggled of how funny that sounds.
