3rd POV
"Today is the day," Lachlan said quietly to himself.

Today, the flower King was visiting the town. Lachlan had been excited ever since the announcement came in. He hadn't told anyone, but Lachlan kind of liked the King. But atlas, no King had ever been gay, so he had no chance.

Lachlan sighed as he washed the cows. He had to finish his chores before he went and he was almost done.

As soon as Lachlan finished, he ran to the house to change. He had bought a special outfit just for the occasion. He didn't want to look like the farm boy he was. He wanted to look sophisticated.

He set out on his journey to the middle of the town. As he got closer he saw the many people that wanted to see the King. But he did not see the King himself. Lachlan tried to make his way through the crowd but got butted out. How am I going to meet the King. He thought to himself. He tried once more but was pushed to the ground by a business man.

"Get out of here! This is no place for a farm boy."

Lachlan's ocean blue eyes feared a bit but he did as he was told.

Instead of going home, Lachlan decided to go the park. He walked slowly up the swings and sighed. "I just want to meet the King."

Lachlan sat on the swings and began moving his legs back and forth to gain speed. Soon he was swinging higher than the bars and his smile soon returned.

"Excuse me?" A voice quietly said behind Lachlan.

He immediately stopped and turned to see the Flower King behind him.

"May I pick that flower by your swing?"

Lachlan moved out his way as the King made his way over. The King bent down and picked the beautiful flower.

"I have been looking for this color flower forever. This color is so beautiful." He paused and turned to Lachlan who was still in shock at the fact he was talking to him. "Almost as beautiful as your eyes."

Lachlan began to blush. He never thought he would speak to the King let alone be complimented by him!

"Um, uh, thanks. I'm a-a Lachlan." He stuttered out

"You can call me Rob"

They both stared at each other for a while. Quickly checking out one another.

"Do you know where some good flowers are?" Rob said while inching closer to Lachlan.

"There is a farm just down the road. It has a lot of flowers by it."

"Can you take me?"

Lachlan nodded his head and started walking towards the farm.

Rob soon came up next to him and started talking about all sorts of flowers. Lachlan wasn't very interested in the flowers but he listened anyway.

They soon arrived at the flower field and Rob was in aw. He had never seen so many flowers in one place.

"Can you show me how you made that flower crown?" Lachlan asked Rob, trying not to sound to desperate to hang out with him.

"Will the owners be okay with us taking the flowers?"

"This is my house, I don't mind."

Rob smiled and immediately ran to the flowers. He Began picking all sorts of colors and shapes of flowers. Once he had all the supplies, he sat down close to Lachlan and showed him.

Lachlan had trouble at first but soon got the hang of it. They began to make multiples of crowns for each other.

~time skip~

They sat there with each other for a while. He was soon dark before they knew it.

"Flower King? It is time to return home."

Rob slowly got up with a frown on his face, he didn't want to leave his knew friend.

Lachlan got up with him and they hugged.

"See you later?" Rob said with a fake smile on his face

"Yeah."

Rob started to walk with his guards but stopped. He couldn't just go. He turned around to see Lachlan picking up all the crowns off the ground. Rob than ran up to Lachlan and kissed him. Lachlan was surprised at first but soon kissed back. He then dropped all the crowns and pulled Rob by his waist closer to him.

They kissed for what seemed like hours but was really minutes. Rob started to pull away.

Lachlan sighed, and was once sad again because his love was leaving. Rob saw his frown and cheered him up by saying 5 little words.

"We will continue this tomorrow."
