More than Friends Pt. 2

Tobi's POV
"You should definitely go after her. She would be lucky to have you." I smiled a fake smile. Now I really couldn't tell him that I like him. "Who is she?"

"You."

"W-what?" I was taken aback. I didn't expect him to say that. Maybe I heard him wrong.

"Tobi, I like you. Like I wanna be more than friends."

"Josh." A tear rested at my eye and my hand covered my mouth.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't of said anything." Josh replied trying to get around me to get to the kitchen.

I stopped Josh and he looked down into my eyes. He had worry in his eyes and I had the cure. I pulled him down by his collar, and I locked out lips together. Josh was the first to pull away from our kiss. He no longer had worry in his eyes.

"Will you be my boyfriend?"

"Of course." I smiled, grabbing his hand. I closed my eyes savoring the moment.

The moment was ruined when Simon stuck his head in the living room. "You guys ready to do Tobi's video?"

We both nodded and Simon moved back into the kitchen, getting the other guys to come out into the living room.

"We should tell the others." I nodded in agreement to Josh's suggestion.

"After JJ's video though."

"Ok" Josh replied quickly kissing my head before the rest of the sidemen came trickling in.

I was moving the camera around, trying to focus on the right spot when Ethan came up next to me. A smile was plastered on his face.

"So." He asked moving closer and wiggling his eyebrows at me.

"He asked me out. Him and Freya broke up a couple weeks ago." I whispered towards Ethan.

Ethan started fangirling next to me. "Shhh" I said giggling at Ethan's silliness. "We are telling the guys later."

Ethan gave me an okay sign and moved towards the couch.

"Alright let's get this started." I said taking my place in the middle of the sidemen.

~time skip~

"That's a wrap." Jj stated turning off the camera.

We had just finished JJ's wrestle video and we began cleaning up the gym. While I was wiping down the equipment, Josh came up next to me.

"When we going to tell them?"

I thought for a few seconds. I have been thinking about how exactly to tell them and what way we should. "We should do it during dinner." He nodded his head and moved to help Simon.

"Me and Vik will go get the Nandos." Harry stated leaving the room.

We all groaned in response to his statement.

Once we finished the cleaning, we walking downstairs and the 5 of us sat in the living room. We were speaking about the new 'sidemen' book when I felt my phone in my pocket vibrate. I pulled out to see a text notification.

New message from Joshua❤️

I looked up towards Josh and he gave me a big smile. I smiled back and unlocked my phone to the message

Joshua❤️: do you have a plan?
Joshua❤️: I'm really nervous
Me: don't be nervous ❤️. And I don't have a plan yet. I'm working on it.
Joshua❤️: I'll follow your lead
Me: when I think it is a good time to tell them, I'll squeeze your hand :)
Joshua❤️: alright

"We're back!" Vik called from the kitchen.

Jj hoped over the couch in excitement and ran towards the kitchen. The rest of us laughed and followed him into the kitchen. We all took our place at the island and began to pass around our orders.  Once all the orders were passed, we began our discussions.

"You think this book will be big?" Jj asked shoving food into his mouth.

"I'm not sure. Im drawing a blank!" Vik responded, quietly laughing at his own joke.

"Vote to kick Vik out of the sidemen?" We all laughed at JJ's joke expect Vik who only responded with a smile and an "oi."

Soon the conversation dimmed down and silence took over the kitchen. I reached over the Josh's lap and took his hand in mine. This was our chance to tell our best friends what is really going on. I squeezed his hand. I then breathed deeply and looked at Josh. He was sweating. He must have be really nervous. I need to do this now. I have a perfect way to do it. A nice way to bring it up to the group so it won't be too forward-.

"Me and Tobi are gay for each other." Josh sputtered out, nervousness coming out with his words.

Well that works I guess.

I looked around the island to all the faces. They all had straight faces, I didn't know how they were feeling. I squeezed Josh's hand tighter. What if they don't except us. What if they want us out of the sidemen? I was brought out of my thoughts by JJ.

"I CALLED IT. Vik you owe me 10 pounds." Vik took out his wallet and gave Jj the money while everyone continued eating.

"Wait, you guys don't care?" I asked confused on their no responses.

"We don't care that you are gay, if that is what you are asking." Simon stated, everyone else nodded in agreement.

"Thank you." I said smiling and leaning into Josh's side. He moved his arm around me and pulled me close into a half hug. "Now that is settle," I said turning towards Josh and moving his arm off me. "I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO HANDLE IT?!?"

Josh put his hand on the back of his neck and rubbed it. He chuckled
nervously and then answered my question. "I got nervous and I didn't know what to do."

The guys around the island laughed at Josh's embarrassment. Josh's cheeks growing a nice shade of crimson red. "So saying 'me and Tobi are gay for each other' was your solution." The guys laughed harder and Josh's cheeks got even redder.

I got off my stool and moved closer to Josh and gave him a proper hug. I pulled away and smiled, "I love you, Joshua." He pulled me in for a kiss and held me close.

"Get a room." Simon groaned, covering his eyes and laughing.

We pulled apart and he put his hand on my cheek. "I love you, Tobi."
