Josh's POV
beep beep beep

I opened my eyes to see Simon stirring in my arms and the alarm going off. Simon started to sit up but I pulled him back down. He chuckled and turned around to face me.

"Babe, we need to get up. Preston and Rob are going to be here in an hour and a half!"

I groaned and let go off him. He laughed again and sat up to turn off the alarm.

"I'm going to get in the shower, want to join?" I smirked as I got out of bed.

"I would love too, but I need to wake up Vik."

I grabbed my boxers and walked towards the bathroom. Simon stopped me though and kissed me gently before walking out the bedroom door.

~time skip~ after the shower

I threw on a shirt and jeans and walked out the bedroom. I walked to Vik's room and I heard a giggle come from the room. I turned at the door and stood in the door frame. I saw Simon chasing shirtless Vik around with a shirt in his hand.

"Daddy save me!" Vik giggled as he ran to me. I picked him up and Simon walked over to us, kissing vik's cheek.

"Vik you need a shirt on." I said, kissing Vik's forhead.

"Why?"

"Lachlan isn't going to come over if you don't have a shirt on."

"Can I have that shirt?"

I chuckled at Vik's actions and I placed Vik down so Simon could put on his shirt.

"I'm going to take a shower. You making him breakfast?" Simon asked standing up so he was at eye level with me.

I nodded and kissed him quickly, causing Vik to go "ew." I laughed and picked Vik up taking him downstairs to the kitchen.

"Waffles?" I asked placing Vik on the counter

"WAFFLES!" Vik screamed and clapped his hands. I smiled and walked over to the fridge, grabbing the waffle mix.

~time skip~ after breakfast, Simon just coming down

"Hi papa." Vik said turning around in his chair towards Simon.

"Hey Vikky." Simon walked over to Vik and gave him a quick wet kiss on his cheek.

"Ew papa." Vik giggled.

Simon walked over to me and I wrapped my arm around him. I kissed his head and leaned his head on my shoulder.

"I done." Vik said pushing his plate away from him.

"Why don't you go watch for Uncle Rob and Uncle Preston?"

"Oway."

Vik got up from his chair and ran towards the living room. I picked up his plate and cup and rinsed it off in the sink. Simon grabbed a coffee cup and poured himself some coffee. He sat at the island and took a sip before talking.

"What did you make Vik?"

"Waffles."

I grabbed a mug myself and filled it with coffee. I sat down next to Simon and locked hands with him.

"LACHLAN'S HERE!"

Me and Simon put our mugs down as we heard the door open. We walked out into the living room to see Vik jumping up and down at the front door. Vik opened the door and Lachlan jumped through the door, giving Vik a hug.

"Lachlan!"

"Vik!"

They moved in the door and Rob and Preston came in.

"Hi, uncle Rob and Uncle Preston." Vik said letting go of Lachlan and giving them a hug.

Lachlan walked over to me and Simon and gave us a hug.

"Hi Uncle Josh and Uncle Simon."

"Hi Lachlan. Vik?" Vik turned from Rob and Preston and looked at me.

"Why don't you show Lachlan your new bunk beds?"

"Oway. Lachlan!"

The two boys took off running up the stairs and we went into the kitchen. Simon and them sat at the island while I grabbed two mugs and poured coffee for them. I gave the mugs to them and sat back down next to Simon.

"So how are you guys?" I asked breaking the silence.

"Good! How about yourselves?" Rob asked taking a sip.

"Good," I paused for a moment. "Do you think Lachlan is going to want to sleep over?"

"Probably, I packed him some clothes in the car just in case." Preston smiled

"We just bought him a bunk bed so we are thinking that Vik might want to 'break it in' with a friend." Simon said taking my hand in his.

"Uncle Simon?" Lachlan called from the bottom of the stairs. "Can you come here real quick?"

We all glanced at each other with confusion. Why does he need Simon? What about his father? Simon got up and followed Lachlan upstairs. I was going to question the actions of Lachlan but Preston spoke up.

"Are you guys going to the fair on Wednesday? It would be great for Vik because Lachlan is going."

"Yeah, we were going to ask you that too. We were going to double date." We all chuckled and took another sip of our coffee. "So have you guys se-"

"JOSH"

I dropped my mug on the island at the sudden outburst. I ran upstairs towards Vik's room. I reached his room, with Preston and Rob only a couple feet in front of me. I looked in to see Lachlan with his head in his hands and sitting at Vik's desk. I then saw Vik laying on the hardwood floor, bleeding from his head and Simon calling for an ambulance.

"Oh my god, Vik"
