College Essay

Prompt: Person A and Person B are roommates that live together in a dorm. Their neighbor (whom Person A finds hella cute), Person C, knocks on the door and ask if they got sugar. Person B pushes Person A out of the dorm, stating that "they're sweet as can be."

Harry's POV
"Is that my shirt?" I asked my college roommate, Simon. He giggled softly and continued reading his book. I rolled my eyes and sat on my bed that was next to his. I began taking off my shoes that were on my aching feet. Having classes all the way across is not always fun to walk too, but it does keep me in shape. I was just happy that tomorrow I didn't have any classes. I could finally sleep in and maybe not drown in so much coffee as usual.

Knock knock

I groaned and looked over at Simon. He didn't shift when someone knocked. I rolled my eyes and got off the bed. I walked slowly over to the door, stretching as I go.

Knock knock

"I'm coming, damn!" I yelled reaching the door of the dorm. I swung open the door to reveal our next door neighbor, Josh. He was in sweat pants and no shirt. He didn't have a 6 pack but he certainly had a nice body. I definitely had a crush on him.

"Sorry, but do you have any sugar for my coffee? I have an essay to write and it is do at 7 am tomorrow. I don't like black coffee." As Josh asked for sugar, I heard Simon walk over from his bed. I could hear him slightly giggle because he knew I liked Josh.

All of sudden, I felt a strong hand push me out of the door, making me fall into Josh.

"Harry is as sweet as can be!" Simon exclaimed as he slammed the door to the dorm, locking it. I looked up at Josh and he was chuckling at Simons actions.

I turned back to the door and tried opening it. "Let me in Simon."

"Talk to Josh first."

I felt my cheeks start to blush. I was hoping Josh didn't hear Simons response but atlas, he did. He grabbed my arm and turned me around, chuckling.

"Do you want to take a walk with me to the cafe?" I nodded my head and he ran into his room, grabbing his keys. He came out and shut the door. We began walking down the hallway towards the stairs.

"So what are you majoring in?"

~time skip~

As we reached the cafe, I had learned so much about Josh and vice verca. I learned that he started a YouTube channel called Zerkaa. I then told him about how I had a channel too, called Wroetoshaw. Once we got to the doors, Josh reached out and pulled on the door, holding it open it for me. I walked through, mumbling a thanks, and he followed me through it.

We grabbed the sugar packets and headed back out the door. For the first time that night, I noticed that many stars were out. "Want to star gaze?" Josh asked taking my hand and leading me to the field.

He laid on the ground next to each other and stared up into the sky. The stars were so beautiful. I turned to face Josh and saw that he was already looking at me. I felt Josh's hand run up my arm and reach my cheek. I started to lean towards Josh and he met me half way. Our lips connected and I felt my face lite up with heat.

We moved out of the kiss and we both sat up. He took out his phone and looked at the time.

"It is almost 10 pm." He said pausing and looking up at me, " while I have this out, can I have your number?"

I smiled and took his phone, putting my number in his phone.

"I'd give you mine but it is in my locked dorm."

We both chuckled standing up. We started walking towards our dorms, hand in hand.

We reached our dorms and he opened his door. He stopped before going in and gave me a quick peck on the lips.

"Good luck on your essay."

Josh started closing his door but before it was shut completely he called out, "I don't have an essay to write."
