Author's Note:

Nic Cester's birthday is only a couple days away so I'm going to go ahead and say this update is in honor of that. I also updated my Jet stories. Even if you're not a Jet or Nic Cester fan, I hope you enjoy my inclusion of them in this story. I also hope you're enjoying this story in general too. Thank you so much for your continued support. I really appreciate it! Thanks again for reading!

            "I'm going!" I informed him.

"The fuck ya are!" He barked. "I'll not have ya-"

"Liam. You have two options. Either you come with me or Nico goes in your place."

"Why the fuck would he go instead a me?"

"He speaks Italian." I reminded him. "And I told you I wouldn't go alone."

            And I didn't.

I was accompanied to the birthday party by...Nico Mirallegro.

The Cesters rented some big country estate outside of Milan as their family was huge and they needed all the space they could get. With both sides of Nic's family and some of Pia's, not to mention their various friends from around the world, the property was filled with people ready to wish Nic a very happy birthday.

Noel was one of the many people who made the guest list as well as the other three-fourths of Jet. Noel didn't come but the wonders from Down Under definitely did.

It made me hopeful for a Jet reunion but I knew it wasn't going to happen.

"I like bein' away from it all." Nic told me as we stood gazing out at the crowd watching a few of his little cousins running across the grass.

"My mom thought you did." I said. "When I told her you pretty much disappeared off the face of the earth, she figured it was because you'd rather spend time with your family."

He smiled with a nod. "So where's Liam? I was sure he wouldn't let ya come without him."

"I don't know. I asked him but he didn't wanna come. It's weird not having him around. Try as he might, Nico just can't seem to pull him off."

He chuckled. "I don't think anyone but Liam Gallagher can pull off Liam Gallgher." He said.

"True." I agreed.

I got reacquainted with Nic's youngest brother Ben who I hadn't seen since that one day he stopped by Pretty Green, as well as met the one above him, Matt. It was weird how they all looked so much alike. The noses and eyes were a dead giveaway that their last name was Cester.

"So you're married to Liam Gallagher?" Matt asked sounding really shocked at the fact. "What's he like?"

"Really great. Dresses better than I do most of the time and usually takes longer to get ready in the bathroom."

He chuckled. "So how long ya been married?"

"It'll be a year in January."

His eyes widened a little. "How long did ya date?"

"A few months." I informed him. "I mean, we already lived together. And then we got engaged. He actually proposed at San Siro."

I stopped talking at the memory of it. Liam was so awkward as he fumbled around trying to get those words out. He was so sincere.

I always worried our relationship was nothing but a sham. I waited for the day when Liam would find some other tart to replace me. One of the many pages at Pretty Green, perhaps.
