Jet's album didn't get finished in New York. The rest of its production called for a different studio in a different location so it was time for us to leave the Big Apple.

For the time being anyway. Production was put on hold in favor of the gig at Pretty Green and the band was in no hurry to get the album out. Surprise, surprise.

I had a bunch of laundry waiting for me when Liam and I returned to Hampstead. He apparently hadn't been arsed to keep up with his own clothes while I was away. Again, surprise, surprise.

He was still in bed while I sat out in the living room folding a basket of towels and shirts. The time change had left his sleep schedule well fucked up and I didn't mind letting him rest to sort it out.

I had the TV on in the background although I really wasn't paying attention to it. That was until I heard a familiar voice come through the surround sound.

"Alright, ladies and gents." The presenter began. "I'm sitting here with the one and only, Mr. Noel Gallagher! Noel, thanks so much for stopping by."

            "Pleasure." He replied.

He looked as dad-like as ever with one of his plain polo shirts and skinny jeans. I often wondered if Sara picked his clothes out for him. I never mustered up the courage to ask though.

"So, Noel, I've gotta ask 'cuz the rumors are swirling again-"

            "Oh for fuck's sake!"

"Yeah. I'm sorry, mate. But I've gotta ask." The presenter apologized sounding just slightly afraid to keep going. "Is Oasis getting back together? I read somewhere, and so did my bosses, that a source close to Liam-"

"Are we really gonna start with that bollocks again?" Noel sighed.

"I've got the tabloid right here." The presenter held it up.

I rolled my eyes as I looked at it. It was a brand new one. Must've been that week's issue. I hadn't been out shopping yet so I hadn't seen it. I tried to ignore the articles and such just because I couldn't stand it. I knew the truth...and so did the boys.

"A source close to Liam." Noel read the front cover. He flipped open the magazine. "Well there she is!" He pointed at a picture on whatever page.

It was too small for me to make out much detail but I could tell it was a picture of me and Liam when we were out and about one day.

"Please get your hand off my ass." I told him as we walked down the sidewalk.

"Not a fuckin' chance!" He replied as he gave me a squeeze.

I rolled my eyes at the memory and went back to folding up the towel I had in my hands as they continued the interview.

"So you're saying Jules started the rumor?" The presenter asked curiously.

"I wouldn't put it past her." Noel replied. "And with all this Jet bollocks..." He trailed off as he shook his head and sighed.

"I take it you're not goin' to the gig then?"

"No. I wasn't even invited! And even if I had been...I know where our Jules' loyalty lies and I'm not fuckin' bothered."
