Gene and I stayed at Noel and Sara's when we all got back to London. Nicole was pissed. Apparently some photographer got us when we were off having our chat...amongst other times throughout the day.

Gene didn't want to go home with her for obvious reasons but eventually did a couple days later when things had started to settle. No one talked to Liam and I only assumed he was back in London as well.

Sara took the boys to Scotland to escape the media frenzy that ensued once everyone knew Liam and Noel Gallagher attended the same City match. All the old rumors and questions brewed up once more and I didn't think her wrong for wanting to get the kids away.

I hid away in the guest bedroom and went to bed early. I wasn't asleep yet and stayed up on my phone scrolling through various websites and apps trying not to think about all the shit. I didn't google the articles which were in every single tabloid in the UK and I didn't reach out to anyone who was probably wondering what the fuck was up.

Instead, I just reread old text messages. Matt had texted me several times to say he was sorry and had only recently stopped. I never responded to a single one.

Gene had sent me pictures and videos a while back from when we went to Tarporley. He gave me his phone to film them shooting the clay pigeons and thought it necessary to send me the videos.

Watching them amongst others nearly brought tears to my eyes. He was so happy and Matt was so sweet. It really didn't surprise me they got on.

I put my phone down eventually and tried to go to sleep. I was about halfway there when I heard the bedroom door creak open.

I closed my eyes as Noel crawled in under the blankets. He sighed as he wrapped his arms around and cuddled in closer.

A few seconds later, he lifted his head and kissed my cheek. Then my temple and then my-

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" I screamed as I shoved him off me.

"Shh! It's okay, Jules!" He cooed trying to pull me back into a hug. "I was just tryin' to-"

"Oh my God!" I hurriedly wiped my lips. "It's like I'm kissing Nic Cester!"

He furrowed his eyebrows curiously. "Well that's what you want, ain't it?"

"God no!" I shouted. "But nobody'll believe that, will they? Jules Anderson. She's fuckin' gaggin' for it!"

He rolled his eyes. "Jules-"

"I need to go. I can't fucking stay here anymore!"

He sighed. "Alright." He replied. "Where d'ya wanna go? I'll get ya a taxi."

The streets were dark and quiet. Nobody was out and the streetlights gave that eery glow.

I stared out into the night as the taxi drove down the street. I was alone with my thoughts and a song filling my head.

The flat was as quiet and dark as the streets had been. Liam hadn't left a single light on when usually he always did.

I crept down the hall and into the bedroom. I turned on the flashlight on my phone and finally found him.
