It was already around four, so you decided to do something more productive. You thought about meeting the koopalings, but only wanted to start small. You knocked on Lemmy and Iggy's door. A small koopa peeked through the door.
"Hi mommy." Lemmy smiled, opening the door wide enough, so that you could get inside.
Lemmy was bouncing around the room, while Iggy was reading a thick book, and quickly writing notes.
"Whatcha reading?" You asked, trying to seem interested.
"Stuff." He muttered, uninterested in your company.
"Okay..." You quietly whispered.
"Lemmy, doing anything fun lately?" You asked.
"Not much, just hanging around." He replied, now jumping around on his bed.
"Have fun..." You sighed.
You felt disappointed that they didn't care about the fact that you were their mother. Bowser had been rough with them, so you assumed they weren't used to loads of attention.
"How did it go?" Bowser whispered as you shut the door.
"Terrible." You sighed.
"That's too bad." He frowned.
"Isn't there one of them who wanted to meet me?" You asked.
"Junior, possibly." He suggested, pointing at a door with Junior's signature silhouette scribbled on the door.
"Thanks." You knocked on the door.
"Come in." Junior grumbled.
You opened the door, looking around his room. It was quite messy, but he had a huge flat screen with countless amounts of consoles.
"Do you like video games?" He asked.
"Yeah, do you have smash brothers or something?" You asked.
He nodded, sliding a disk into his wii u. I grabbed the game pad and threw you a wii remote. He impatiently spammed the A button, assuming it would speed up the loading sign.
"Choose your character!" The game announced.
You went with Zelda, not wanting to offend him by using one from Mario.
Junior played as himself and chose a stage for our brawl.
"3... 2... 1... FIGHT!!"
You transformed into Sheik and spammed your attack, almost knocking him off the edge. He came at you with an attack, but you teleported up into the sky. Skeik fell to their death as Junior jumped and attacked. You tried teleporting, but it wouldn't let you reach for the platform. The game soon ended, and Junior had won.
"Good game." He smiled.
"I had fun, but I have to go." You sighed, getting up to leave.
"Okay." He sadly sighed.
"Can't you play with one of your brothers?" You asked, standing in the doorway.
"Ha! Have you even met them! They're all insane!" He laughed.
"I actually have-"
"You haven't. You don't know how terrible they all are." Junior frowned.
"Junior, use your indoor voice, they might hear y-"
"Who cares?!" He frowned, slamming the door in your face.
You sighed, sliding down to the floor, groaning in frustration.
"Junior has a... temper, you could say, he's five, after all." Bowser frowned, sitting beside you.
"I just wish that they liked me..." You sighed.
"You could at least try and talk to Wendy, you might like her, she's always wanted a mother." He suggested.
"I give up, I'll deal with everything later." You murmured.
"You can't! They all like you, they're just extremely stubborn and aggressive! If you hang out with Wendy, I won't make you try to bond with anyone." He promised.
"Fine." You sighed, getting up and going to the room you and Bowser had first met.
It was furnished a little different, but it looked similar. Wendy sat on her bad, texting away on her phone.
"Who ya texting?" You asked, standing in your doorway.
"Does it matter?" She asked.
"No, but-"
"Whatever, what do you want?" She asked impolitely.
"I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out or do something fun." You replied.
"Uh... I guess..." She murmured, focused on texting.
"Great! Do you want to go shopping-"
"YES!!!" She squealed, pulling you into a tight hug.
"Woah! You really love shopping." You laughed.
"King Dad, like, never, ever takes me shopping! I really need to, like, update my wardrobe!" She smiled.
"Where's the closest mall?" You asked.
"It's, like, a couple minutes away. I haven't been in, like, forever!" She excitedly jumped off her bed and grabbed a purse off a hook.
"I'll go grab my purse, you go get someone to drive us there." You went into your room to go get your purse, and saw a fancy, black car in front of the castle.
You ran down all the stairs and opened the castle doors. You ran to the car and sat in the backseat with Wendy.
"I'm, like, so excited!" She squealed.
"Me too, I really wanted to update my wardrobe." You smiled.
In a matter of minutes, you were in front of a large mall. Wendy ran through the glass doors, pushing everyone out of her way. You decided to plainly walk through, much unlike her unkind manners.
"What took ya so long?" She whined.
"I just wanted to take my time." You sighed.
"Whatever, I'm, like, going to go into this first store, I'll be, like, ten minutes, you do whatever." She said, running into a store.
You exhaled heavily, slowly walking towards a display with overly priced clothing, but then again, you realized you were queen. You had all the money, too much if anything. In fact, your purse was so heavy with gold coins, that your back ached. But, nothing interesting caught your eye, being so distracted with how you were supposed to bond with the other koopalings.
