After 1 Month
9 AM

"Good Morning, Sir" the guard greeted me.

I have an urgent meeting with my boss which is my Uncle. It seems that they have a problem with the Marketing Management and I don't why, I as the Sales Manager, have to talk about that with him in this fine Sunday Morning.

It's suppose to be my rest day but since I had a call from him, I directly came here at his office.

I knocked on his door's office. Binuksan ko ito.

"Tito?"bati ko at napatingin s'ya saakin.

"Thomas, good to see you"saad n'ya at tumayo sa kinauupuan n'ya. Pumasok ako at sinarhan ang pinto.

Lumapit s'ya saakin at nagmanly hug kami.

"How are you Thomas? Do you need a drink? Upo ka"saad n'ya kaya umupo ako sa chair kaharap ang table n'ya. Umupo na s'ya sa kinauupuan n'ya.

"No, Sir. I'm fine, pinapunta n'yo po ako. May problema po ba?"tanong ko.

Napatango naman s'ya "Well, unfortunately meron. I have a problem with the Marketing Management"panimula n'ya "Our Brand Manager in our company, Mr.Salvador, just resigned last week"

"Si Francis?"I asked

"Yes"agad na sagot n'ya "Nagresign s'ya because he was offered to be part one of the Officials in another company. Now, the problem is..."

Tinuon n'ya ang braso n'ya sa lamesa at medyo naglean forward.

"Wala na tayong Brand Manager"saad n'ya.

Napaisip naman ako at nagtaka.

"So, what do I have to do with that? Find you a new Brand Manager?"tanong ko. Napangisi lang s'ya at may kinuhang folder.

"Thomas, I'll get on my point so we'll not waste our time"saad n'ya.

Inilahad n'ya ang folder "I want you to replace Francis for being the Brand Manager"

Medyo napatawa ako at napailing ng konti.

"Sir, are you serious?"I asked

Napatawa rin s'ya "Oo" sagot n'ya.

" *chuckles* Sir, you know Sales Management is my passion. Working in your company for 3 years as the Sales Manager, I'm in love with it. I'm in love with my team and department. I can't have a new team for the new management"pagtanggi ko.

"Alam ko"saad n'ya "Pero ang hindi mo alam ay ang nasa loob ng folder na 'to"

Ano naman kayang ibig sabihin n'ya dito? Kinuha ko yung folder at binuksan ko ito. It's a contract. It says here something. Binasa ko ito at agad akong napatingin sa kan'ya.

"Marketing Director and Brand Manager?"nabibiglang tanong ko sa kan'ya.

"Yes and I'll double your salary being a Sales Manager just to be my new Director and Brand Manager"sagot n'ya.

"Sir,mabigat po itong trabahong na 'to. I can't handle this since halos apat na taon palang akong nag tratrabaho dito sa company"saad ko.
