Chapter 12

{ROSS P.O.V}

I dropped Katie off at her house a little while ago. I really like her. When I got home, I ran up to Delly's room because I need some advice and I need to talk to someone about my feelings toward her, and lets face it Rydel is the most understanding at the moment. I open the door, and I see that she's on the phone. She notices me and waves me off.

As I shut the door I hear Rydel say, "Awe, Katie!" It's rude to listen in on people's conversation but she's talking to Katie so I can't seem to stop myself from listening to their conversation. "My baby bro is the sweetest!!" Rydel squeals. They could be talking about me, and if they are then this night has gotten even better.  Suddenly, Rydel squeals again so I focus more on them. "Yeah, I won't tell him, its your decision." I wonder what her decision is but I really hope it involves me. "Alright. Later girlie. " I can tell that Rydel just hung up but I don't go in until I hear her yell my name. "ROSS."

I wait a few seconds before peeking in. "Yeah?"

"Did you need something?"

"I wanted to talk about my night with Katie."

"Go ahead and talk." She smiles and sits up from her bed.

I take a breath and take a seat at the edge of her bed. "Tonight was really amazing Delly. It was honestly the perfect date for me. I really like her. She's beautiful, funny, smart , likes music, has an awesome voice. I can't get her out of my mind and she puts a smile on my face. I don't even need to kiss her to feel sparks with her. I just have to see her, I've been feeling things I've never felt before, like my heart beats really fast when I'm with her, I don't know what to say, I get butterflies and I get scared that I'll say something stupid to embarrass myself all because of her, because of Katie." I finish but Katie still stays on my mind.  

"Ross, that's so sweet!"

I thank her, "I don't know what to do."

"About what Rossy?"

"I really want to be with her, but I don't know if she wants to be with. I can't ask her out on another date because of Rocky, Riker, and Ryland."

"Honestly, if it is meant to be then it will be. If Katie wants to be with you then the other guys will have to understand that, just like if she chooses one of them then you have to be understanding of her feelings as well."

"All I want is to be with her though."

"I understand that and you never know, maybe she wants that to. You just have to give her time."

I thank her for her advice and excuse myself. Even though it's a rental house, and we won't be here for long, we still share rooms like we did back home. Luckily, Ryland isn't in our room right now so I decide to call Katie. She answers on the fourth ring.

*Phone conversation*

Ross: Hey gorgeous.

Katie: Hey Ross!

Her voice is so incredible, just hearing it makes me smile.

Katie: Did you need something?

Ross: I was just wanting to talk to you if that's okay? I don't want to bother you.

Katie: You are definitely not bothering me.

I grin.

Ross: Good. Did you have fun tonight?

Katie: Absolutely! Did you? Thank you so much, for everything.

Ross: Yes, I did. It was really fun and it's no problem, anytime.

I meant that, I'd spend as much time with her as I can get.

Katie: I should go Ross. It's really late.

Ross: That's fine. Before you go, would you like to come over tomorrow?

Katie: Yeah. I'll try.

She sounded like she was smiling which made me smile. That made my night even better because I would really enjoy seeing her tomorrow or any day really.

Ross: Awesome but anyway goodnight. Sweet dreams.

Katie: Goodnight.

*End of conversation*

Today was amazing. She made my night, and seeing her tomorrow will be the best part of my day. At least I can go to bed with a smile on my face.
