Chapter 35

I woke up to the sound of my sweet boyfriend's voice. "Good morning baby, c'mon wake up we're home." His soothing voice awakes me. Ross shakes me lightly until my eyes flutter open. "Morning beautiful." He kisses my nose.

"What are you doing here?" I rub my eyes.

"What? You're not happy to see me?" Ross looks shocked and stands up to walk away. I grab his hand so he couldn't leave me.

"No! I'm happy to see you. I just want to know how and why you're on my bus."

"Well, we stopped earlier so I hopped on the bus. I didn't want to wake you up. Ally just told me to wake you up because we're about to be home. " He explains. I nod while stretching. He helps me out of my bunk. I forgot we were going to be home today.

"It looks like we're pulling into our driveway now."

"Your driveway. " I correct.

He chuckles. "Yeah." He agrees. The bus soon comes to stop and Ross leads me off of it.

"Welcome home!" Mark screams. Ryland, Rocky, Riker, Ratliff, Rydel, Sierra, Ross and I grab our bags. Ellington, Sierra and I set our bags to the side considering we don't live here and the others take their bags inside. I walk up to Ross and Ryland's room to see them unpacking.

"Oh, hey babe. " Ross greets me.  

"Do you need any help?" I offer.

"Nope, but I have something to ask you." He smirks.

"Ask away." I hug him still looking into his hazel eyes.

"Will you go out with me?"

"I thought we were already doing that?"

He laughs. "Awe. You're so cute." I remember when he asked me to be his girlfriend so this is making me very confused. Ross notices my confusion. "Babe, we are boyfriend and girlfriend but I meant will you go on a date with me." He clarifies.

"Growing up when someone asks that, it means boyfriend and girlfriend."

"I know but I'm way sweeter than all of them." Ross spins me around.

"You sure are." I lean in. He moves closer.

"Time to go Katie." Ally peaks in. "Now." She adds. I nod in response and she walks away.  

"So, will you?"

"Yes, I'll go on a date with you." I peck his lips.

"Katie, lets go!" Ally shouts.  

"I'll text you the details." He releases me. I walk out of the room and say my good byes to everyone.

"Bye Ross." I yell up to his room.

"Bye babe." He yells to me. I walk outside and get in the car. Ally is driving and Sierra sat in her usual seat in the back. We like to sit back here together. We pull away quickly.

"What is your stupid boyfriend doing?" Ally asks me in a snarky way.

"What? " I look out to window. "and he's not stupid!" I add. She pulls over and rolls down my window. It takes a few seconds for Ross to pop up at my side of the car.  

"I almost forgot." He kisses me through the crack of the window that Ally left us. "I love you." He pulls back.

"I love you too." I respond, holding back laughter at my boyfriend's craziness.

"You may leave now." He tells Ally. She drives back onto the road after Ross moves away from the car. I look back and he's waving in the car's direction. I stick my hand out of the window and wave back. Soon he leaves to go back to his house I'm assuming. I roll my window up.

"I swear that boy is even more crazier than us." Sierra looks my way.

"I agree but he's a sweetheart." Ally chimes in. That is one of the only nice things she's ever said about Ross. It's not that she insults him constantly but she doesn't compliment him much either. "He's a keeper." Ally adds.

"I know he is. " I laugh looking down to my hands. When I look up into the rear view mirror, Ally looks back at me, she smiles at me and I return it. She is strict but she's not terrible all the time.  

"Good news. We are home." She speaks once again.
