Forever <R5/Lynch fan fic>

Chapter 20

I called Ally Richards a few hours after I read the letter. She informed me that she will be our manager and that we really need to be in California by the end of the week. I realized it was short notice but I didn't focus on that. I spent two days packing everything I could think of, I didn't want to forget anything when I leave. I contemplated whether or not to text one of the Lynch's or Ellington to tell them that I will be in L.A soon but I decided against it. If keeping in touch didn't matter for the past 3 months then it won't matter now.

It's Sunday, Sierra and I leave today. Sierra stayed at my house last night because my mom is taking us to the airport today at 11:00, we already left. Our flight is at 12:30 and we don't want to be late. Sierra said her goodbyes to her family yesterday. We will not be gone forever but we also don't know how quickly we will come back. We will be staying with Ally. She's going to pick us up from the airport when we land. I feel a lot of different emotions at the moment. I'm scared because this record deal may not work out. I'm anxious because I'm going somewhere I have never been with before. I'm worried because I don't know what will happen, and I'm worried that I'm not good enough for this. Most of all, I'm happy, this is amazing. We just reached the airport. We check in at the loading gate after getting our luggage back from the baggage claim.

"Bye momma." I say to my mother. I told my other family members goodbye before we left my house. It's 12:15 and they told passengers of our flight to start getting on board.

"Good luck angel. I am so happy for you! Call me everyday you can and tell me how it goes. " She says.

"Thank you for everything and I'll try my best. " I kiss her goodbye. After that me and Sierra had to go through secruity then head to the plane.

"Is this really happening?" Sierra ask. I've never seen her so happy. She's the one who encouraged me to sing. Without her, I wouldn't know ho  capable I am of singing. She made me feel comfortable. As the plane takes off, we share headphones and turn on a playlist. We figured that it would be a good idea to pick the songs we are good at performing just in case Ally wanted to hear us sing in person. We do that for about a hour or so. It only takes about 4 hours to land in California from Atlanta. We should be there around 4:00 and its 2:30 now. Sierra dozes off, she couldn't sleep last night. She actually kept me up from talking so much but I'm so excited to sleep so I play games on my phone and read a few chapters of my book. I really enjoy reading and not many people would expect that from me. I don't look like the type of girl to read but it doesn't matter to me, I love it.

Our flight lands a little after 4:00 like expected. I wake up Sierra. "Se, we are here!" She gets really excited and we make our way off of the plane. We grab our bags and find a sign with our names on it. I can tell by Sierra's face that she found that awesome.

"Hi girls, I'm Ally, your manager. Nice to meet you." She doesn't look like what I expected but she's pretty.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Katie." I introduce myself even though she already knows.

"I'm Sierra." We finish our fretting quickly and walk to Ally's car. We put our stuff in the trunk and sit in the back seat together.

"I know you both are just starting but I've already booked you girls a small tour as an opening act for a band. The label and I think it would be a great way to introduce your band." Ally says and she sounds proud of her work.

"What band?" Sierra asks curious.

"It's a surprise, you'll find out tonight at dinner. They're a big hit right now. I'm positive that you have listened to their music. You'll enjoy it." She assures. I hope so, it wouldn't be much fun opening up for a band consisting of stuck up and arrogant people. "We are actually going to dinner right now to meet with them." Ally adds.

We arrive shortly and walk into this restaurant that isn't fancy, it's comforting. We take our seats.

"They should be here soon." Ally tells her. Sierra and I sit and talk about the interesting things we have already seen and plans we have on stuff to do. Soon the band is here but we didn't recognize at first because we were in a discussion.

Ally snaps us out of our talk. "Sierra, Katie this is who you'll be opening up for." Sierra looks up before me and starts slapping my arm and I slap her back. Ally adds, "You covered one of their songs and that's how we discovered you. This is R5." I immediately look up and it really is them.
