{ROSS P.O.V}
We just pulled out onto the highway and we are currently leaving Georgia. Everyone was silent then I remembered the letters she gave me. I pass the correct letter to the correct person. "These are from Katie. " I confirm their thoughts. I wonder what she wrote in these letters, especially what she wrote in my letter.
"Ellington, open yours first." I recommend. He starts to read it silently. "Read it out loud." Rydel suggests and he does.
"Dear Ellington Lee Ratliff,
I know we didn't know each other that long and we didn't hang out as much as I would've liked but it doesn't matter to me. Your still going to be my crazy best friend. You always knew how to make me laugh with your stupidity and you don't even have to try. I'll remember all the stuff we did to the others on those pool days and everything we've been through. Do me a favor though, don't forget me. Make sure the others don't either. I'm trusting you. Okay? Have a good time on the rest of the tour drummer boy, and rock hard. I love you best friend.
~Katie."
He smiles and says "I won't." They didn't hang out much but I know they wanted to.
"Your turn Delly. " Rocky says. Rydel starts reading.
"Dear Rydel Mary Lynch,
I just want to say thank you for everything you've done for me this past month. You didn't have to but you did. You've always been there for me, even at Starbuck when you didn't know me at all, you wanted to help because you are such a compassionate person. You're beautiful and you've inspired me to do so many things. Thank you for being there when I needed you and when I needed to talk to about the guys. Thank you for letting me borrow some of your clothes because I still have them and they were to cute to give back, so I hope that's okay. Thank you for that shopping day and most of all thanks for being a great best friend. I love you my Kitty. Have fun with the boys and don't let them make you go crazy. Don't forget me.
~Katie."
Rydel has tears in her eyes. She couldnt even speak, she nods her head vigorously. Rydel being the only girl, and us on the road so much, she doesn't have many girls she can hang out with. She never got to have any girl time, but with Katie she got all she wanted.
"Ryland." Ryland now opens his letter and begins reading in the same process.
"Dear Ryland Michael Lynch,
Let me just start off by saying, you were great at your football game. You're a really great player so continue to play. I appreciate everything you've done for me Ry. Including, the day we spent together. It was fun. I know how you feel about me. You're a great guy and when you feel something it's strong. Me and you can't be together though. Don't get upset, I'm just some fan now. You're a great DJ to and I have faith you will be very successful in that. I love you Ry-Ry. Dont forget me.
~Katie."
"It's not me." Ryland says. He seems okay with it but you can tell it bothers him. How could Katie consider herself just a fan now. She will always be more than that.
"Rocky, it's your go."
"Dear Rocky Mark Lynch,
You promised me that night, that even if I didn't choose you that it'll be your job to be my big brother. That's what I need from you, to be my brother. Even across the country. You promised and I'm holding you to that. I need you to be my big brother. I'm always going to remember our day together. You are different when you're watching a concert and performing in one, but both sides of you are fascinating. What you did for me when I had that nose bleed was so considerate. I love you Rock and you can't forget me either.
~Katie."
"It's not me but I'm glad she wants me as a brother." I can hear the honesty in his voice. The chances of it being me have reached half now and I'm excited and nervous to discover her feelings.
"Riker." Delly says. Riker starts.
"Dear Riker Anthony Lynch,
Hey Riker, like I told Rocky, I need you as a brother. You've always been a brother figure to me. You're a great brother, I can tell by the way you are with your family. I want that, from you. I hope you'll always be there when I need you. Even now when we are far apart. I need you Riker so please don't be mad or upset. I'll remember everything we've been through. Maybe if we ever see each other again then I'll teach you how to skate without falling on your butt. I must admit that you're not to bad at put-put, I'm still the best though. Anyway, I love you Riker.
~Katie."
"It's not me either." Riker sounds disappointed. "I didn't bust my ass as much as she made it seem either." He adds with a grin. We all look at him and smile. It's my turn now, and I will finally know her feelings. I begin to read.
"Dear Ross Shor Lynch,
Ross, I know you're really happy right now. I care about you and I can never stop smiling when I am around you. You cause that. It sucks you had to leave so soon, right when we were getting to know each other. I'm sorry I couldn't go but you know my whole life is here in Georgia, I've never lived anywhere else or been gone for a long period of time but I'm already having regrets. Meeting y'all has always been my dream. Ross, I need you. The unfortunate part is that sadly can't happen now. Thank you for helping me last night when I was upset and needed someone there. I'll always remember you because there is no possible way I could ever forget any of you. Like you've said, I'm falling for you. I've already fell for you. It doesn't matter though, you can't give up you career. I won't let you. I'm just some girl that you could possibly forget. You're on the tour bus then you'll be in L.A and I'll be here so we cant be together. I'll miss you Ross. I'm sorry . Please dont forget me. I love you.
~Katie."
