Chapter 13

I didn't really have to go, I was just so excited he called me at all. Ross doesn't know this but I heard everything he said to Rydel about him having a good time and him liking me a lot. Heres the thing, everything he said about me is how I feel about him. I'm just worried and scared that I could possibly make the wrong decision or that he will change his mind. I also have to think about the way that Riker, Rocky and Riker feel and treat me.  I told Ross I had to go because just hearing his voice put the biggest smile on my face. Tonight was perfect to me and I couldn't imagine it being any better. I'm so happy with the way that the last week has been going! I think I'm even happier then I was with Gideon, meeting the Lynch's and spending these days with them has made me forget Gideon completely; I don't care or have any feelings towards him anymore and I won't have feelings for him ever again.

*The Next Morning*

I woke up early without even setting an alarm . Ross didn't tell me a time to come over so I'm just going to go ahead and get ready. I don't put on anything fancy and decide against wearing make-up today. While I was getting ready, I got a text from Ross.

From: Number One Boy

"Hey gorgeous, I forgot to tell you what time to come over so how about 12?"

I reply saying that was fine and I'd see him then.

It was only 10:30 but my phone beeped again. It was a message from Rydel this time.

From: That Hello Kitty

"Hey girl, I want you to spend the night so pack up if you can. I'll see you later!"

I would love to spend the night with them. I grab something big enough to hold all my clothes in for tonight from my closet. I get ready and dress in a teal tank top, white shorts and blue sandals. I walk into my bathroom to grab my toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and other things that I may possibly need for the night with Rydel. Then I grab my car keys and phone and preceded out of the door.

My mom left for work so I didn't get a chance to ask her about spending the night but she hasn't seemed to care when it comes to the Lynch's. I decide to I'll leave her a note stating where I will be, who I will be with, and when I will be back. I told her to call or text me if she needed me and that I loved her. I finished the note and left it on the counter. After that I leave. I was at the Lynches house in 30 minutes or so. I walk to the door and ring the door bell. I was greeted by Rydel and Stormie.

"Hey, the boys are by the pool, go change if you'd like. Oh, and you can put your bag in my room." Rydel smiles.

"Okay. Thank you, and thank you Stormie for letting me stay over."

"It's no problem at all dear." Stormie smiles, then leaves the house. Its just Rydel, the boys and me in the house. I go upstairs to Delly's room and change into my bright yellow top and bottoms. I threw my hair up into a messy bun and wrap my towel around me. I make my way out to the pool, because Rydel was out there now too. I was immediately greeted by Ross, Riker, Rocky, and Ryland. It wasn't long until Ratliff showed up and it wasn't long after that until Delly and I were thrown into the pool by the boys again. Ellington grabbed Rydel and Ross grabbed me. They jumped in the pool with us thrown over there shoulder which seemed a little dangerous cause my head was really close to the edge. Everyone got out of the pool around 4:00. We all get changed and showered. I just changed back into my clothes I came here in considering they weren't really dirty. I walk back downstairs to join the other's while Rydel takes a shower. The only person down there was Ross, I assume the other boys were playing Xbox.

"Hey Katie." Ross' face lights up when he sees me and he stutters at his words.

"Hey Ross." I grin.

He pauses. "Can we talk for a second?" His tone gets sierous and I nod.

"Katie, I need to tell you something so here it goes, I like you a lot." He pauses momentarily. "I understand if you don't feel the same way but I want you to know that I get butterflies everytime I talk to you. I feel sparks just seeing you and when I'm with you I can't stop smiling. Everything about you is amazing and to be honest I'd do anything to be with you." He pauses again before adding even more. "Oh, and the fan week thing was just so all of us can go on a date with you. They may not want you to know but I can't hold it in anymore. I tried so hard to make my date with you perfect. If you don't believe just ask Delly, I told her this and more but thats what I wanted and needed you to know." He's out of breath by now and I can't help but smile.

"Thanks for telling me, but I already knew." I say smiling.

"What do you mean?" He was confused and I know I didn't help his confidence by not saying I liked him back right away.

"I heard what you told Rydel. She didn't hang up after she talked to me by accident and for the record, you make me smile to. I really did have a great time yesterday and any other time I've hung out with you. " His worried expression turned into a smile. Both of us sat there smiling and we didn't know what to say. Then he starts to lean in. I noticed but I didn't know how to react. I didn't know if I should kiss him or not, even if I wanted to really badly. Before our lips could touch we get interrupted by voices being cleared. It was Riker, Rocky, Ryland and Ellington was with them as well.

Perfect, just perfect.
