Chapter 39 : Girls Talk

As soon as the boys were out of the house, I was attacked by the girls .

"So tell us about this boyfriend ." My aunt sarcastically says .

"He's perfect . " I blush .

"How so ?" Momma chimes in .

"Well ... He's super sweet, funny, cute, he has a great voice .. Pure amazing ." I clarify .

"Aren't you worried ?" Ashley asks .

"About ?" I question .

"He's famous .. " She hesitates .

"I'm in a band too .. I'll hopefully be famous to soon . Plus, he hasn't hurt me yet ." I defend .

"True. " Kayla helps .

"Yeah .. So ." I drift .

"What do you think the boys are telling him ?" I asks them since they've been through it .

"Either they're having the talk or they're telling embarrassing stories ." Ally confesses .

"Speaking of the talk ... " Destinie, mom, and my aunt slur .

I mentally and physically slap myself . Well more like covering my face .

"Y'all haven't ..." Aunt Connie starts .

"NO !" I cut her off .

"Jeez guys it's only been 8 months anyway ." Ally helps . Secretly she's holding in the laughter .

You can tell Kayla and Ashley are as well .

"Still be safe ." Destine tells me .

"Guys , I took this class already . " I roll my eyes .

That's all it takes for Ally, Ashley and Kayla to bust into laughter . Finally the subject is dropped .

"So 8 months .." My grandmother trails off .. I forgot she was here ... Great .

"On the 4th ." I confirm .

"Wow .. So you like Ross better then Gideon .?" Kayla ask .

Kayla bonded with Gideon . They were so close but once she heard what he did she understood .

"Well he doesn't hurt me constantly and he hasn't cheated on me yet ." I snap .

She nods and stops talking .

We hear footsteps coming up the stairs and stop talking, looking at who was coming . Ross .

He walks in . It's silent in the room, wow ; thats a first .

"Whatcha y'all talking about beautiful ?" Ross asks kissing my forehead .

The girls are about to start with the "aww " , I can tell .

I blush a beet red .

"You ." I admit .

And there goes the "aww" . Oh, Shor is already wondering what we were talking about . Goes for both of us .
