Chapter 46 : How Could You Do This To Me!

\ROSS P.O.V/

I stand at Katie's door ... Preparing myself for everything that's about to happen . She needs to know and I know we are gonna end, and if I wasn't so stupid I wouldn't be here doing this right now . Me and Katie would be happy .

I gather my courage up to knock and Sierra answers the door .

"Oh . Hey Ross ." She cheers eating hot Cheetos .

"Can you tell Katie to come out here, please ." I ask .

"Sure ...?" She questions .

"KATIE ! ROSS IS HERE . COME DOWN HERE !" Sierra yells through the house .

I hear her light footsteps coming down quickly .

"Hey baby ." She stands on her tiptoes to kiss my cheek .

Bye-bye sparks .

"Hey .." I look at Sierra in a apologetic look and she goes inside .

Katie studies me . "Shor what's wrong ?" Shit she said Shor . I feel the tears now .

"I have to tell you something. " I mumble .

"What is it? You can tell me peanut hung and everything ." She smiles .

"I just don't want you to leave me . " I confess .

"That's never ." She starts .

"No because it's about to ." I cut her off .

"Wait are you breaking up with me ?" She asks tears in her eyes .

"No baby girl ." I wipe her tears .

"But I did something really bad ." I add .

"What did you do ?" She gulps .

"I cheated in you ." I admit and tears fill her eyes and overflow .

That's when I lost it .

\KATIE P.O.V/

I know I'm crying really bad right now and surprisingly so is Ross .

"With .. Who ?" I choke out .

"Makayla ." He cries .

"What happened ?" I ask . To be honest, I'm scared to know the answer .

He calms down a little as he starts explaining .

"I was at the mall, and I went into Starbucks . After I got hot choclolate, I sent a picture to Riker and bumped into Makayla . She dropped all her bags so I help her take them to her car, and then her car didn't start so I toke her home . I was looking around in her room when she took her shirt off and kissed me . I know I should've pulled away and I honestly don't know why I didn't . I feel so horrible . And we didn't do anything officially . " he explains .

Every word he said shattered my heart even more every time .

"Officially ?" I asks, my quivers

"She .." He starts .

I already knew what he was gonna say, she did it with all the guys .

"How could you do this to me !? I thought what we had was special but clearly not to you . I thought you cared about me, I thought I was the love of your life like you are mine, I thought ... I thought you loved me .." I cry .

He is crying so hard, I actually believe he's sorry . "I'm so sorry ." He cries .

"Me too ." I admit .

"You have nothing to be sorry for !" He says .

I fall to the ground crying my eyes out . Ross picks me up and pulls me into his lap . "I love you ." He whispers in my hair .

"I love you too ." I cry out .

"Are we breaking up?" He asks the question I dreaded .

But we have to. He cheated on me ! With Makayla !

I nod, yes .

"Please don't Katie, I know I messed up and I was so stupid just please don't leave me ! Please ." He begs .

I know I can't leave him but I have to . "Maybe we should just take a break . I need some time then I'll see if it's officially done . " I suggest .

"A break?" He repeats .

"Like we just don't see each other for a couple of weeks . " I confirm "I'm sorry ." I whisper .

"It's my fault, just please remember that doing this to you was the worst mistake of my life and that no matter what I'll always love you ."

I nod and walk into the house . Sierra notices me crying . And looks out the window to see Ross still crying . "What happened ."

"He... He .. He cheated on me ." I mutter .

"HE WHAT !" She yells running out the door .

"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO HER!" She growls at him .

"SHE FUCKING LOVES YOU AND YOU HURT HER LIKE THAT !" She continues . "I thought you loved her, you promised me you would never hurt her that you'd die of she walked away what happened to that ."

I'm crying even more, Sierra notices , "Is that what you want? " She finishes . Pointing at me .

"I KNOW I FUCKING MESSED UP ! I KNOW ! I PROMISED YOU AND I HATE MYSELF FOR BREAKING THAT PROMISE . AND YOU DONT THINK I LOVE HER ANYMORE ! ID DO ANYTHING FOR HER, ANYTHING , ID TAKE A BULLET FOR HER . AND I HATE SEEING HER LIKE THAT AND I WANNA KILL MYSELF RIGHT NOW FOR MAKING HER CRY THAT HARD . JUST BECAUSE I LET HER WALK AWAY DOESNT MEAN I DONT REGRET IT, I WAS ABOUT TO RUN BACK IN THAT DAMN HOUSE JUST TO GET THE LOVE OF MY LIFE BACK ! SO DONT SAY THAT I DONT LOVE HER OR CARE ABOUT HER BECAUSE , SHES EVERYTHING TO ME . SHES MY WHOLE WORLD, MY WHOLE LIFE !" Ross screams .

I've never seen him this upset and mad before .

He walks over to me .

"Katie I know I messed up and that you can trust me . But I can't lose you . I can't . Please, I'll be list without you , I'd rather die then be without you . Just please, don't leave me . I need you and those sparks and fireworks . You're the one thing that truly makes me happy . And please stop crying . I hate seeing you like this, and I know I caused it but please . Just stay with me ." Ross cries again .

I look over at Sierra who goes soft .

"Damn, just kiss the boy ." She says .

I didn't need to, his lips were already on mine . This kiss taste like strawberries and salt .

"I love you so much ." He mumbles into the kiss .

"I love you more ." I say .

"Not possible ." He throws back .

"Please don't leave me ." He begs .

I shake my head . "I won't . Just no more cheating okay ?"

"Never , I promise ." He kisses me again .

"Good thing y'all worked it out . I was getting mad for a minute. "Sierra say making us pull away .

"A minute ?" Ross smirks .

"Fine ! Whatever but what you yelled at me was the sweetest thing ever !" She squeals .

He turns back to me . "Are we back together ?" He asks .

"We never broke up ." I smile . And he returns it .
