Chapter 54 : A New Tour

"Mom I can't leave ! " I scream .

"Honey, you can't let all your fans down ." My mom soothes .

"I can't leave Katie .!" I plead .

"And I can't leave Se ." Rocky chimes in .

"Y'all guys have only been dating these girls for a few weeks ." Dad snaps .

Did he seriously just say a few weeks ? Rocky and Sierra maybe, not me and my girl !

"TRY 9 MONTHS !" I remark rudely .

"Y'all aren't that serious with these girls but you are about your career !" Dad pops back .

"Not serious ? She's the love of my life, dad ! Do you not get that !? " I hiss .

"Love of your life or not , you have to go ." Mom pushes dad back .

"Then why can't they come with us ?" Rocky asks .

"We don't have enough money for two extra people . " Dad calms down .

"Boys, you can just call them every night ." Mom assures us .

"I'm gonna go tell Katie " I say disappointed .

I drive to Katie's house . When I arrive I go to knock on the door when Katie pulls me in and hugs me .

"Sierra told me . It's gonna be okay ." Even though she's crying she still worries about me .

"It is we're gonna make it work . It's only a 4 month tour ." I encourage .

"Yeah just 4 months ." She pulls away wiping away her tears .

"Hey, hey . Baby, stop crying . There's nothing to worry about ." I kiss her temple .

"I know . I'm just gonna miss you ." She leans her forehead onto mine .

"I'm gonna miss you too baby girl ." I peck her lips .

"Well, when do y'all leave ?" She asks .

"Tomorrow ."

"Short notice ." She giggles .

"They knew how we would react ." I hug her again .

"Ohh . Well promise me something ?"

"Anything ." I look into her eyes .

"Promise me you won't forget me and replace me ." Her eyes sparkle .

"I would never forget my princess . Ever , I can't live without you ." I peck her lips .

She nods .

"Alright, baby, well I should go . Even though I hate it ." I say sadly .

"Mhm . Okay . I'll come see you tomorrow . " Katie says .

"Alright we're leaving at 12 . You might wanna bring Sierra ." I inform .

Katie nods .

"I love you, so much , Katie ." I tell her .

"I love you, with everything, Ross ." She kisses me .

I don't wanna leave her . The love of my life . It feels like I'm abandoning her . I really wish she could come but we just can't spare it . At least she understands, plus it'll only be 4 months, nothings gonna change . Right ?
