Chapter 58: Surprise Its Our One Year

Today is May 04 . It's been officially one year with the love of my life . It's been a great freaking year .

The bad part is, Ross isn't here . He's still on tour . And today Sierra and I have to do an interview to 'get our names out there' . The interview airs at 4:00 and it's currently 3:00 .

Sierra and I are already ready . We match again . We have on the same ripped skinny jeans and style shirt . The only thing different about the shirts are the color, mine is hot pink and hers is orange . We have on sandals that match our shirts . My hair is curled and Sierra's is straightened.

I haven't talked to Ross all day . He's at soundcheck for the biggest show in their tour .

"Hermosa to the stage !" A manager screams .

Sierra and I walk onto the small set and take our seats .

"And we're on in 3..2..1 " The director speaks .

"Hey there everyone . I'm Tessa Echols and I'm here with the hot new band Hermosa . Hi guys ."

"Hey ." We wave .

"So tell us your names ." Tessa nods .

"I'm Sierra ." She introduces herself .

"And I'm Katie ." I join .

This interview is a 10 question interview plus a performance .

"Alright, our first question . How long have y'all been a band ?"

Sierra looks at me to explain .

"A few months of being an ACTUAL band but ever since 7th grade we've been singing together and about 3 years ago was when we started covering songs and uploading them on YouTube ." I finish.

"What can y'all tell me about y'all's music ?"

"Over all, we have a very pop kind of genre . Many fans can relate to our music ." Sierra nods .

"And do y'all write y'all's own music ?" Tessa adds .

"Yes. We write our songs ." Sierra agrees .

"Yeah, we often write the songs we sing together as a team and our solo songs separate ." I explain .

"Now going back to what you said earlier, you mentioned the 7th grade . Is that when y'all became friends .?"

"Noooo ." Sierra drags out .

I laugh . "Yeah, we've been friends ever since the 2nd grade ." I tell her .

"Wow, any other best friends ?"

"Yes ! We have our best friend, Jordan, who's still back in Georgia, who's been with us since the 6th grade ." I mention Jordan .

"Her, and who else supports you ?"

"She has supported us, and of course our parents, and other family and friends ." Sierra says .

"Alright, back to your music . What's y'all's favorite song you've written separately .? "

"My favorite is B-E-A-Utiful . " I say .

"My favorite is the new song I'm currently writing . But my favorite right now is 'Stars' .

"I would've guessed 'Nobody Understands '. I turn to her .

"Nah !" She smacks .

"Well what about y'all's favorite song y'all sing together ?" Tessa redirects

"Well mine is 'Fireflies Buzzin' " I say .

"Mine too ." Sierra agrees .

"So I've heard a little rumor that y'all are dating a few Lynch boys . " Tessa winks .
