Chapter Eight

The bell rang, meaning school is over. We got our characters and plot done. We know what we're doing. Now we just need to actually write it.

"See you tomorrow Liz" Jordan waved and walked out. I gathered my things and Joe and Zack came up to me

"Wow, impressive. He didn't hit on you once" Joe said

"Well, when he first walked in. But other than that.." I trailed off

"We all know he's going to be the same old Jordan tomorrow" Zack said and he was right, sadly. I like that Jordan.

"Yeah. It was good while it lasted. Come on, they're probably waiting" I said

"Wait, let's see if I can get this in the garbage" Zack said holding a rolled up piece of paper

"Go for it" I laughed

"Money" He said as he threw it. It missed

"Nice job" Joe teased patting his back

We walked down to the lobby and Bee and Will was there

"Hey Liz" Will waved

"Hey Will, this is Zack and Joe" I said gesturing over to them

"Nice to meet you Zack, Joe" Will smiled shaking their hand

"Aren't you in my Math class?" Joe asked

"Yeah" He replied

"How was class Liz?" Bee asked

"It was fun actually" I said

"What? Was Jordan not there?" Zach said coming up to us

"He was but he wasn't his usual self" I explained

"Impossible" Mitchell added in

"Oh it's possible. He only hit on her once when he first walked in. Then after that, nothing" Zack said

"I'm impressed" Bee nodded

"See you later Liz" Jordan said walking by us

"Bye, see you tomorrow" I replied

"Wow, now I'm really impressed. He usually hits on you right after class ends" Bee said

"But he's going to be himself tomorrow ” I sighed

"Yeah, I wish he was like that all the time" Bee said

"Does Bee like him?" Mitchell teased

"Ha, not even! I just hate him bothering Liz" Bee defended

"Uh huh" Mitchell rolled his eyes

"I'm serious" Bee playfully hit him

"Anyways, what do you want to eat?" Joe asked

"PIZZA" Zach and I said and everyone agreed except bee

"We always have pizza. I'm started to hate pizza" Bee complained

"I AM OFFENDED" Zach said

"How about next time you pick? Only if we can get pizza" I said

"Fine" She said "LET'S GO GET PIZZA" She yelled

"YEAH PIZZA" Zach yelled also. This is why I love my friends

We all sat down and ordered.

"So Will, where are you from?" Zach asked

"England as you can probably tell from my British accent" He replied

"England, with it's fish and chips and double decker bus" He laughed

"Oh and where are you from?" Will asked

"Canada" Zach replied

"Canada, with it's poutine and saying 'ehh' after every sentence" Will mocked

When we were done we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. Me and Bee walked together because we live close by of course.

"Oh shit" I said

"What? Did you forget something?" She asked

"No, I'm suspended for a week and the school is suppose to call my mom. She probably already knows. I don't know what she's going to say. I don't know what I'm going to do-" I said fast

"Liz, breath. It's going to be okay. Just tell her what happened" She said

"Tell her that a guy at school tried to kiss me? Nope" I said

"No, I mean you tried to stop a fight. I mean you did so you're not lying" Bee explained

"Yeah, but she's going to ask what happened that started to fight" I said

"Tell her you seen a fight that was going on between a friend and you helped him" She explained

"Okay" I sighed "I guess that'll work"

"See? Well I'll see you tomorrow" Bee said walked over to her house. I walked to my doorstep and held the doorknob

"It's going to be fine" I whispered to myself
