Chapter Thirteen

I opened my eyes and it was 9:00am. I'm surprised I slept more than 12 hours. I went downstairs and my mom was up.

"Morning" I greeted

"Good morning" She replied "I'm going to be working late tonight so I left some money on the fridge for you to get something for dinner. I got to get going, bye love you" She said as she kissed my head

"Bye mom, love you" I said as she went out the door. I looked it the window until she drove out of the driveway. Then I took my phone out to text Will

Liz: want to come over?

Will: now?

Liz: yeah my mom just left

Will: aren't you not allowed to have friends over?

Liz: so? Can you please come over, I'm bored

Will: 'kay, be there in 5

I waited for a couple of minutes and heard a know at the door.

"Hi" Will waved

"Hi, thanks for coming over." I said

"No problem, so what do want to do?" He said

"Do you have you're laptop?" I asked and he nodded "We can watch movies up in my room."

"Why not here in the living room?" He asked

"Because if my mom comes back, you can time to hide" I said "Let get some snacks" I said and went to the kitchen, Will followed. After a bit we got some snacks. By some I mean a lot. We ran upstairs and sat everything on my bed.

"Do you think your mom won't come back?" Will asked nervously

"She said she's working late. So she won't be back in awhil-"

"Liz? Are you here?" I heard someone yell from downstairs

"Oh shit that's her, hide under my bed" I whispered/yelled

"What it's dirty down under there" He complained

"Just go" I said, he went on the floor and hid under the bed

"Hey Liz, I got my paperwor- woah, that's a lot. What are you doing? Feeding the whole neighborhood?" She said looking at all the snacks Will and I brought up

"Yeah, I'm having a movie night" I said

"It's almost 10 in the morning" She said

"Movie morning" I laughed nervously

"Anyways, I just came here to grab a couple things. See you tonight" She said. She grabbed other things and went outside and drove off again

"I'm never going under there again" Will said coming up from the bed

"That was close" I sighed in relief and we bursted out laughing

It was almost 6pm and we were still watching movies.

"What do you want for dinner?" I asked

"I don't anything is fine" He shrugged

"Why don't we order pizza. My mom gave me some money" I suggested

"I'm down" He said

We ordered the pizza and waited for it to be delivered. We were still in my room since my mom..

"Liz, can I ask you something?" He said

"Of course Will" I replied

"Do you like Jordan?" He asked nervously

"No, I-I don't know" I stuttered

"Because I don't think he deserves you. He treated you like nothing. He doesn't have any respect for you" He said

"Will.."

"No, I mean it. He beat you up for crying out loud " He said. I looked up at him and his eyes started watering. He wiped his eyes and said "I'm sorry, I just don't want to see you hurt" I didn't say anything but went up to him and hugged him tightly
