Chapter Nine

"I'm home!" I yelled. I want to get this over with, I don't want to wait for her to yell at me, it'll just build up my fear.

"Kitchen please" I heard her yell. I walked in and the was sitting at the table. "Sit down" She said

"Hey mom" I said nervously

"The school called, did you know that?" She asked

"Yes" I said putting my head down

"Do you know what they said?" She said

"Yes"

"What did they say?" She asked. I can hear the disappointment

"I'm suspended for a week" I answered

"Why are you suspended?" Why is she doing this to me? I already know what happened

"I got into a fight" I whispered

"What was that?" She asked

"I got into a fight" I said louder

"What happened? This isn't like you Liz"

"I was trying to break up a fight between a guy and Zack" I said

"Do you know why they were fighting?" She asked

"No" I lied

"Okay, so since you got suspended, you're grounded until you go back to school. Until then, I'm taking away your laptop" She said

"Yes mom" I replied "Do you have it? Or do I go and get it"

"I have it. Now go up to your room" She said. I nodded and walk upstairs. At least she didn't yell. I got my phone I had a text, it was from Bee

Bee: how'd it go?

Liz: I'm grounded

Bee: how long?

Liz: Until I go back to school, which is next Monday

Bee: what am I going to do without you for a week

Liz: the boys will be there

Bee: it's not the same

Liz: I gotta go

Bee: bye

I turned off my phone and put on a pair of pajamas. I'm not in the mood to do anything

I woke up and checked the time. It was 8:30 and I got a text from Zack

Zack: how was it?

Liz: grounded until I go back to school and my laptop got token away wby?

Zack: same, but I have to do chores

Liz: HA

Zack: shut up anyways gotta go

Liz: byee

I shut my phone off and went downstairs.

"I'm about to make dinner" My mom said

"Okay, I just came down to get a drink" I said. I got my drink and headed back to my room. I don't know what I'm going to do for a week.

I woke up with the sun shining through the curtains. I checked the time it's 7:30am. Damn it, I slept through my alarm.

I walked over to the bathroom and showered. I applied my makeup and started to choose what I was going to wear today. I decided to wear a white crop top and skinny jeans. I put on a hoodie and headed to the kitchen. My mom wasn't awake so I just grabbed an apple. I heard a knock on my door and I went to answer it

"Good morning" Bee said "Ready to go?"

"Yeah let's go"
