Chapter Twenty Five

"You should really talk to him Liz." Zack said

"I know, but I don't want to" I replied

"But Liz, didn't you hear him?" Joe said

"I heard him, I just can't do it... I don't want him to hurt me again" I sighed starting to walk slower "As cliche as that sounds..." I added

"Do you want to skip today? We can all go down to the park." Bee offered

"No, I need to stop avoiding my problems... I'm going to talk to him today" I sighed

Once we got at school we all said our goodbyes and headed to class.

"So, how was it with Jordan!?" Bee asked

"Bee, I said it was fine. Stop bring it up" I said We turned a corner and I bumped into a person, it was Will.

"I'm so sorry-" He looked up noticing it was me. "I'm so sorry Liz"

"It's fine" I replied. Bee kept walking and looked back at me. Talk to him She mouthed.

"Look Will, I actually hoping to bump into you. We need to talk-"

"Liz!" I heard from behind me, I turned around and Jordan was running up to me. Why does he have to come right at this moment? "Liz, you still didn't answer my question"

"What question?" I asked

"Would you like to go out another time? Since we had fun last night" He replied

"Jordan, not right now." I said as the bell rang

"Look Liz, I gotta get to class" Will said walking past me. Fuck man, why the hell did Jordan have to ask me right now?

~ Time skip to lunch ~

"After Jordan asked me to go out with him again, Will just ran off" I explained

"Wait, wait Jordan asked you out?" Bee asked "What'd you say?"

"That's not the point, the point is I need to talk to Will." I said

"Let's go for him then" Zack said getting up from the ground.

We split up to find Will then I seen him by the tree outside. I walked up to him and he was on his phone

"Will?"

"Oh, hey Liz" He said look up from his phone

"Look, we need to talk. May I?" I asked gesturing beside him. He moved over and I sat down. I texted everyone I found him and sat there in silence

"There was no bet" Will finally said

"Where did Mitchell get it from then? He's not the type to do make up rumors" I said

"I don't know where he got it, but I just can't believe you believed that I would do such a thing" He said "We know so much about each other, we'd gotten so close and you just believed some fucked up rumor." Will added

"I know, I'm sorry. I don't know why I did." I said shaking my head. "Now that I think about it, that's such a dumb rumor. Why did I believed that? I'm sorry, do you forgive me?" I look over to him and he just smiled and nodded. I pulled him into a hug and he hugged back

"I missed hanging out with you" Will said

"I missed you too"
