Chapter Thirty

We were driving for awhile now. We're basically in the middle of nowhere. I started to get nervous

"Will where are we going?" I asked watching the trees go by

"I thought you liked surprises" He replied keeping us eyes on the road

"Since when?" I smiled

"Just hold on, we're almost there" Will said softly. The car filled with silence, I decided to put on some music. I started to sing along then Will joined in. After a couple songs, Will came to a stop. "Okay, you need your eyes to be covered" He said reaching for a scarf in the backseat

"What? No way" I shook my head

"C'mon please? You'll ruin the surprise" Will said pouting his lips. I groaned as Will covers my eyes with the scarf. I sat there as Will ran around opening the door then leading me a long pathway. I managed to trip over rocks and roots from the trees a couple times, then Will stopped. "Okay we're here" He announced

"Oh my god finally" I said taking the blindfold off to reveal a secluded area with small candles and fairly lights around. My jaw dropped as I started walking around. In the middle was a blanket.

"Do you like it?" Will asked holding a basket in his hand. I was lost for words so I just walked up to him and gave him a hug, slightly nodding. "Good, because you have no idea how long it took me too plan this" He sighed in relief

"This is so cliché, yet so adorable... Thank you Will" I smiled. We sat down then Will bought out variety of foods from the small basket. He handed me my favourite food as he had his. It was probably the best times of my life.

"Liz?" Will asked

"Yeah"

"Did you actually go out with Jordan?" He asked softly, he almost sounded hurt.

"Why are you asking?" I said

"Just wondering" He replied

"Aww, is Will jealous?" I teased

"W-what? No," He stuttered

"We went on one date, that was when we weren't talking. He asked me and Bee thought it was a good idea." I explained

"How was it?" Will asked

"We went bowling, I had fun" I shrugged. Will nodded then continued eating.

Its been awhile, we were now laying down staring at the sky. Will turned off the fairy lights. We were telling each other embarrassing stories about when we were younger. I was telling him when I was young and skipped school.

"What'd you guys do?" He asked

"We went to the mall and my friends started shop lifting. I wasn't by the way" I smiled. "When we were about to leave, they got caught and was leaded to a room. I wasn't because I waited outside while they came out"

"What happened?"

"They got caught and police came and took off with them. My friends told them I didn't do anything and I was left at the mall. Because I was in the 6th grade, I had no way of getting home. I asked the workers and they said I need to call my school and they need to come pick me up. I wasn't going to do that so I just started walking home." I explained. "It was like a 2 hour walk and I was lazy as fuck so I was so sore. I just told my mom I didn't feel good and the school dropped me off, till this day, she didn't know I skipped school and my friends was arrested"

"Wow, she doesn't know?" He asked

"Yep, I don't want to tell her" I said. I turned to my side facing him and he turned also. I stared into his beautiful brown eyes and he shot a smile. I blushed my cheeks turning pure red. He leaned closer as butterflies form in my stomach. He pressed his lips on mine as a rush of chills ran down my spine.

I pulled away and smiled. I moved closer my head in the crook of his neck. Then I fell asleep.
