Chapter Thirty Five

"So can I stay the night?" I asked my mom who I was on the phone with

"I don't know Liz" She hesitated. I sighed looking over to Will who was already eating on the cookies we just made

"Please? I'll be home early if you want me to" I begged. Will walked over with a cookie in his hand and shoved it in my mouth

"Good yeah?" He asked with a smile on his face

"It is good wow" I answered in shock covering my mouth slightly as I spoke

"Excuse me?" My mom asked

"Sorry I was talking to Will, we just made cookies" I explained

"Bring some home, I want to try" She said

"Only if I could stay the night?" I say more as a question

"Alright, Liz I'm trusting you. Have fun, but not too much" She said as I started choking on a cookie

"Mom!" I yelled. I look over to Will and he was in hysterical laughter, I guess he heard what she said

"I'm just joking, have fun. Love you" She said reassuring me

"Love you too" I replied hanging up. "Oh my god" My face turned into a light shade of pink as I was embarrassed

"Oh my god, your mom is amazing" Will said calming down.

"I'm so sorry" I say face palming

"It's fine, so want to watch a movie or something?" Will asks

"Yes, but I'm choosing" I reply running to the living room

It was getting pretty late as we watched a handful of movies. We were currently watching Coraline as it was my favourite. I wasn't really paying attention as I was staring up at Will. The position we were in was my head on Will's lap and him sitting up.

He looked down at me and I started to blush. I quickly looked away paying attention to the screen in front of us.

"I saw you staring" Will muttered my cheeks flushed pure red.

"Stop" I whined hiding my face

"You're adorable when you're embarrassed" He stated gently grabbing my chin making me face him. A smile grows on my lips as he leans down placing a kiss on them.

The movie went on as we sat in the same position until it was over.

"What if your life was like that?" I asked

"What?"

"What if there was an alternate universe where everything was perfect." I explained

"Everything is perfect now that you're my girlfriend" He smiles

"Oh? I don't recall you asking me to be your girlfriend" I say

"Really, I thought I did" Will replies

"Well you thought wrong William. That didn't happen" I said lightly tapping his nose

"Alright Elizabeth, will you be my girlfriend?" He asks

"I would love to be" I smiled pecking his lips.

I get up from our position to walk to the kitchen and start to clean from our baking disaster.

"What are you doing?" Will asks following me

"Cleaning" I muttered

"You don't need to" He shrugs

"Yes I do, your mom said that it needs to be spotless" I corrected. I get the bowls and utensils and start to wash them. Will then comes behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. He kisses my neck sending chills up and down my spine. "Go away" I smiled playfully pushing him away.

"Come here" Will chuckles making me face towards him. He pulls me closer kissing me gently.

"We need to start cleaning" I say turning away from him.
