"Griffey" Austin runs into my room, and I look at him with raised eyebrows.
"Griffey?"
"Sorry, it was the first thing that came out" He shrugs, jumping onto my bed and laying beside me. He clutched my pillow to his chest and smiles at me and I look at him in confusion.
"What are you up to? Your face makes me nervous"
"How much do you love me?" He asks.
"On a scale of 1 to 10, zero" I scoff, and he glares at me "You're such a little bitch" I roll my eyes "I don't know, why?"
"Because, I'm going to my beach house this weekend and I wan you to go with me" He grins.
"Absolutely not" I shake my head.
"Come on Griff, it's just going to be me and you. My mom might come down, but you can't really believe what she says all the time" He says "Please" He drawls out in a whine.
"Austin-"
"Please, please, please. You're my best friend and I want you there" He begs "You won't regret it, I promise"
"When do we leave?" I ask with a huff, and his face brightens as he sits up quickly.
"We leave tomorrow after school, I'll drive you to school so we can just leave right after" He says happily "It'll take a couple hours to get there so we'll be there a little late"
"Okay" I nod.
"I'm going to pack, thank you so much" He runs out of my room. I walk down the steps, seeing my mom standing in the kitchen.
"Mom" I say quietly and she takes her attention away from the stove and turns to me.
"Yes?"
"Uh Austin invited me to his beach house this weekend, and I told him I'd go. Is that okay?" I ask, and I see her fight off a smile.
"You two are getting close, yeah?" She raises her eyebrows and I sigh, avoiding her eyes.
"Can I go?" I ask.
"Yeah, sure, when?" She asks.
"Tomorrow, we're leaving right after school" I tell her, running back up the steps. I pull out a suitcase from my closet and pack different outfits for the weekend, along with two bathing suits. I zip it up and open the front pocket, putting my straightener, spare phone charger, and spare toothbrush into it, zipping it and sitting it by my bedroom door.
Not sure if I'll regret agreeing or not...

"Good morning" Austin smiles as I get into his car after putting my stuff in his back seat.
"Morning" I nod, and he hands me a bag.
"Brought you some breakfast" He says and I take the bag from him.
"Thank you" I smile, and he backs out of my driveway. We drive down the street, and I furrow my eyebrows in confusion when he drives past school "What are you doing?"
"I lied about going to school" He shrugs "I decided I didn't want to go"
"Okay" I nod with a shrug.
"Really? You're okay with it?" He asks in surprise.
"Austin, I hate everyone. Of course I'm okay with it"
"Sometimes I forget because you love me so much" He chuckles, and I roll my eyes "You know, you haven't been as sassy lately"
"Ugh, I know" I huff "I'm losing my touch" I roll my eyes "Hopefully this trip will help. I'll find new ways to insult you" I grin sarcastically and he chuckles.
"Are you going to let me touch you?" He asks, and I bite my lip.
"The way you say it makes it sound weird. Like let me touch you, and by that I mean shove my fingers in your vagi-"
"You know that's not what I mean" He cuts me off, shaking his head.
"I know, I was kidding" I sigh, seeing how serious he's getting "Sometimes I forget how sensitive you are. Bitch" I mumble to myself, but I know Austin heard me.
"I'm not after that, you get that right? I told you that I'm into you, I'm not trying to get into you" He half chuckles, and I nod, looking out of the window.
"We'll figure it out" I mumble quietly.

We're almost there, but are you hungry?" Austin asks.
"Not really" I shake my head.
"Well I am" He pulls up to the drive thru of a Chick-Fil-A.
"Hi, welcome to Chick-Fil-A, how may I help you?" A female voice says through the speaker.
"Can I get a number one with a coke?" He says, and out of the corner of my eye I can see him turning to look at me "And an order of fries and a vanilla milkshake" He says, and I bury my face into my arms, trying to hide my smile. The girl tells him the price and he pulls up to pay, getting our food.
"A milkshake and fries for my boring best friend" He smiles at me, putting a straw into my milkshake. Him and this whole best friend shit is killing me. I take it from him, and take a drink before pulling out my cherry and eating it "Good?" He asks, and I nod holding it up to him.
"Want some?" I ask and he chuckles.
"So, let me get this straight. You won't let me touch you, but you'll drink after me?"
"I don't like to be touched, I'm not a germaphobe" I roll my eyes "Want some or not?"
"Actually yes" He nods, taking my milkshake, his fingers brushing mine making me pull my hands away quickly. He takes a drink of my milkshake and hands it back to me.
"Good?" I ask and he nods, taking a bite of his fires.
"Fuck" He curses as he drops them in his lap, and I laugh "Can you help me?" He motions to the fries in his lap, and I bite my lip "Nevermind, it's fine" He shakes his head as we stop at a red light. He picks them up and tosses the out of the window while I continue to drink my milkshake, not worrying about my fries.
"How much longer?" I ask when the light turns green.
"5 minutes" He shrugs, turning down a few streets until we're right by the beach. He drives until the end of the road, his beach house being the last one, somewhat secluded from everywhere else "Come on, I'll show you around. We can grab our stuff later" He gets out, and opens the door for me. He carries the food to the house, and unlocks the door sitting it in the kitchen.
He shows me around the house, from the game room to every bathroom it has "This is my old room" He opens the door and I chuckle at the race car bed, and Spider-Man sheets and Batman wallpaper.
"Batman is my favorite" I tease and he chuckles.
"It's been a while since we've been here" He shrugs "That's all of it really, I'll go get our stuff"
"Wait" I stop him, and he turns around "Your mom isn't coming, is she?" I ask, and he shakes his head.
"No, it's just us"
