Throughout the day after speaking to Austin, I can't fight off the slight pout on my face. Sure, I thought prom was stupid and the thought of being in a room with over 500 people was enough to make me anxious, I still wanted him to ask me. But of course that stupid bitch Lacey had to ruin everything. It's pathetic really, she still believes Austin is interested in her, I feel bad.

As I walk out of my last period and towards the main entrance of the school pushing open the doors and walking out. I turn around when I see my name being called and I see Dean running after me.

"Hey" He smiles.

"Hi"

"So, I was wondering if you had a date to prom..." He trails off, and I bite my lip.

"I'm not really sure if I want to go" I shrug "It's not my scene"

"Oh" He nods "Well, let me know, yeah? I'd love to go with you"

"Yeah, I'll let you know" I nod and he walks off. I sigh and turn to my car, nearly jumping out of my skin when Austin slides between me and my door.

"What did he want?" He asks, and I roll my eyes.

"He was asking about prom" I shrug.

"You can't go with him"

"Oh, but you can go with Lacey?" I tilt my head, raising an eyebrow.

"Griffin" He groans.

"Don't Griffin me like that. You're telling me I can't go to prom with someone, yet you're going to prom with someone I don't like" I cross my arms over my chest.

"Oh, are you jealous?" He asks, a smirk on his lips.

"If I am, that means you are" I smirk back and he chuckles, wrapping his arms around my shoulders and pulling me into his chest. I grip his shirt tightly in my hands and rest my head against his chest, sighing loudly "I hate you"

"Why?" He pouts, and I laugh.

"Because, you can't tell someone no" I pout back and he sighs through his nose, cupping my cheeks.

"I know, I'm just too nice" He chuckles and I roll my eyes "I'll try to get out of it so that I can go with the girl I really want to go with" He winks.

"Oh my gosh, who is she?" I gasp, and he laughs.

"Meh, just this girl named Griffin" He shrugs, playing along.

"Griffin? That's a guys name. She must be a hoe"

"She's my hoe" He snorts and I laugh, shaking my head.

"You're a dork" I tease, and he chuckles, leaning down to kiss my forehead.

"Are you coming over later?" He asks, and I shrug.

"I have to meet with Richard but if you're free after than sure" I nod.

"Cool, I should be completely free" He says.

"Alright, well I'll be late if we don't end this now" I look down at my watch. Austin whines and I roll my eyes, shaking my head "I'll see you later"

"Fine" He huffs like a small child, cupping my face and pressing his lips to mine. He leaves light pecks after pulling away slightly, and I push him away when people begin to stare at us weird.

"Go home, I'll see you later" I smile up at him.

"I'll see you later Baby" He gives me one last kiss before walking away. I get into my car, biting my lip to suppress a smile as I pull out of the school parking lot.
