a/n: I've been working on College Applications all day and I want to shoot myself. There's a time skip in this chapter of a couple weeks but it happens in the middle.

"Can we build a fort?" I ask, my finger trailing along Austin's nose, my lips against his jaw.

"Yeah, let's go" His face lights up and he hops out of bed, pulling the blanket off the bed and throwing the pillows onto the floor. We toss the pillows in along the bed, and put the chairs on top of the mattress as well, throwing the blanket over top.

When were finished, we climb into the bed, under the fort and turn onto our backs "This fort is shit" He chuckles.

"Ugh, I know"

"Let's start over" We take everything back off.

"Put this there" I hand him a pillow, telling him to put it on the end of the bed.

"Put that there" He points to a chair before dragging his fingers towards the headboard of the bed. We finish building the second version of the fort, smiling victoriously as we climb under it. Austin turns on his side to face me giving me a cute smile. I sigh and scoot closer to him, burying my face in his neck.

"What's wrong?" He asks, wrapping an arm around my waist.

"Nothing, I'm just happy" I half lie, I was happy, but that isn't why I'm sighing.

"That sounded like a sad sigh" He kisses my forehead.

"Oops, well that happens when you're cold hearted" I shrug and he chuckles. I yawn quietly and close my eyes, falling asleep to the sensation of Austin rubbing my back.

"Good morning" Austin grins at me when I peek open my eyes.

"Morning" I yawn "We leave today, don't we?" I ask and he nods "That sucks"

"I know, I wish we could stay here forever" He sighs.

"Me too" I nod "I might as well shower and change so we can get going" I move to get up but Austin pulls me back.

"No, cuddle with me" He whines, wrapping his arms tightly around me.

"I don't want to cuddle with you" I shake my head, but make no effort to move away from him, only allowing him to wrap his arms tighter around me, his head in my neck. 

"So, what are we doing for the fourth of July?" He asks, and I smile at the fact that he said we.

"I don't care" I shake my head.

"Okay well, do you want to take my boat out and watch them on the water?" He asks, and I nod excitedly.

"Fuck yeah! You have a fucking boat" 

"Yes, I have a fucking boat" He chuckles "So, you're down for it?" 

"Yes, totally down!"

"Ready?" Austin asks, and I nod. Today was the fourth of July and after convincing my mom to actually let me go out, she finally agreed. 

"Yeah, I'm ready" I nod, and we get into his car, driving to the dock yard. When we get there, Tiana, Zach, Taylor, Alex and Rob are already there and I grin happily when I see them. 

"Oh my god, hey!" Tiana grins. 

"Hey Girl" Taylor smiles. 

"Hi" I smile back, Austin coming up behind me and wrapping an arm around my waist.

"Hey" He smiles at them and they wave, Tiana winking at me. I chuckle and shake my head, all of us walking to Austin's boat. We all get on and Austin drives us to the huge circle of boats and we throw over the anchor all of us sitting and waiting for the fireworks. Austin talks to the guys, while Tiana comes to talk to me, Taylor deciding to take a nap.
