A/N: This is super short but it's only because I want the championship game and Austin's POV to be a separate chapter. I love you all💕💕

:griffin:

"Good morning" Austin grins as he walks into his room, two mugs in his hand.

"Morning" I groan, rolling over onto my side.

"I made you some coffee" He hands me one of the mugs and I thank him, sitting up against his head rest. I yawn quietly before taking a drink, setting it onto his bedside table.

"I have practice today for a few hours today since Championships are in a few days"

"Okay" I nod "I'm probably going to lay in bed all day, you're welcome to join me after practice"

"I'll definitely be joining you" He winks, climbing out of his bed. I get out as well, carrying my mug with me down his steps.

"I'll return your mug later" I say as we step out into his front porch.

"Thanks" He chuckles "I'll see you later Baby" He pinches my hip, and I smile before walking across the yard to my house and in through the front door, climbing up the steps to my room. I sit in my bed, a sigh leaving my mouth. If someone were to tell me a year ago that I'd find someone who was willing to work through my issues with me and that in a few short months I wouldn't be completed revolted by their touch, I'd probably have screamed about how idiotic that sounds.

But here I am, involved with a guy who actually likes me. A guy who's willing to work with me. A guy who's willing to turn his back to the hundreds of girls who want to be with him, just to be with me.

And, boy is it bitter sweet.

"Hey, your mom let me in" Dean walks into he room.

"Oh, hi" I smile "What are you doing here?"

"Well, I think we need to talk about this whole thing"

"I don't want to do it" I shake my head "I changed my mind"

"You can't change your mind. This is what you wanted!" Dean huffs.

"Dean, please, I can't do this" I shake my head.

"You need a reason to, look at this" He hands me his phone. I gulp when I see a picture of Austin and some girl on the football field, looking a little too close for comfort. She's wearing basically nothing, her legs wrapped around his waist, his resting right under her butt. I let out a puff of air, looking at the picture before I shove it back towards Dean.

"He's on his way over" He looks out my window. My breathing increases as Dean turns back to look at me "I'm doing this for you"

"Dean please" I beg, but my door opens, Austin walking in. His eyes immediately set on Dean, his jaw tightening.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" He grits "Not done ruining shit?"

"I haven't ruined anything" He shrugs.

"Bullshit" Austin rolls his eyes.

"That's why I fucked your girlfriend" Dean spits at Austin.

"Sure you fucking did!" He replies sarcastically "I know Griffin, she wouldn't do that"

"It's true" I sigh, my mouth moving before my brain can process what I'm about to say and Austin looks at me with widened eyes.

"What?" He croaks.

"I told him I didn't want to be a virgin anymore, and why go for someone worth it, when you above someone willing" I shrug casually, Austin's face making me feel a pang of guilt and I feel like I'm about to vomit.

"Griff, you don't have to lie for him" He shakes his head.

"I'm not lying. It happened" I say, and he looks as if he'd just been punched in the gut.

"How-how could you?" He asks "What about everything? What about us?"

"There was no us, it's clear I was just something to occupy your time. Now find a new hobby"

"I-I fuck" He curses "I need some air" He runs out of my room and I take a deep breath.

"You alright?" Dean asks, and I nod.

"It's what's best for him" I mumble.

That night I had a panic attack, one I had to get rid of myself. Austin wasn't there to kiss me and make it go away, I was alone. Alone and panting while staring at Austin's closed curtains, wishing we hadn't met.

Because if we hadn't, it was impossible to hurt each other.
