65.

There's going to be a time skip after a couple chapters. Either that or what I want will be the epilogue... I haven't decided.

I gotta write a speech, and honestly I'm super excited because if my speech gets chosen I get to speak in front of hundreds of people and get a free trip as well as 500 dollars, like holy crappppp

:austin: 

I kiss Griffin's temple as she sits on my lap, her, Tiana, Zach, and I watching a movie together in the living room. Griffin smiles at me before looking away, turning her attention back to the movie. I wrap my arms tighter around her, sighing in content. 

Tiana and Zach stand up, Zach stretching and yawning "It's getting late, so we're going to head out, but this place is sick" Zach chuckles. 

Griffin stands up and Tiana hugs her "Bye Babe, I'll call you soon. We can have a girls day" 

"Sounds great" Griffin nods, pulling away and smiling at Zach. I stand up too and hug Tiana, then Zach, walking the to the door. When I walk back into the living room, Griffin is turning off the TV, walking towards the lamp to turn it off. 

I wrap my arms around her, kissing all around her shoulders. She giggles, and wiggles out of my grip, turning off the lamp and running into the room, jumping onto the bed. I lay down and she moves impossibly close to me, laughing and kissing my side "Cuddle me" 

I turn on my side and wrap and arm around her, kissing her lips gently "I love you" 

"I love you" She hums, closing her eyes. She falls asleep after a little while, and I can't help but caress her face with my thumb, still in shock that she's mine, and we now have an apartment together. 

Never did I think this would happen, but it did, and I'm more than grateful. 

The next morning I wake up to an empty bed, and sit up, rubbing my eyes. Griffin comes out of the bathroom, and smiles, walking over and kissing me quickly "I'm glad you're awake, we gotta get ready to get this puppy" She grins, clapping her hands. She walks to the closet and grabs a pair of jeans and one of my sweatshirts, changing into them and carrying my shirt that she was wearing to the dirty clothes basket. 

I roll out of bed, walking to the bathroom to use it and brush my teeth. Once that's done, I walk to the closet, changing into jeans and a t-shirt, putting on my shoes. I walk out of the closet, seeing Griffin waiting on me. 

I hold out my hand for her to take and she grins, standing up and taking my hand. We walk towards the front door and I grab my keys before we walk out of the apartment and to the elevator, her hand not leaving mine. 

Griffin gives me the directions to the guys house and when we get there she grins widely, getting out and walking up to the door to knock. 

The guy opens it after a couple moments  "Hi, Griffin?" He asks, and she nods.

"That's me, and this is my boyfriend Austin" She points to me, and he gives me a smile.

"Ryan" He holds out his hand, and I shake it.

"Nice to meet you" 

"You too" He says as he lets go "So, let's go meet the puppy" He opens the door to let us in. We walk through his house and downstairs to his basement which looks like an indoor dog park "They're all trained and everything so there's no need to worry about that" He smiles, picking up the puppy Griffin wanted.

"Oh my god, he's so cute" Griffin takes him from Ryan, the puppy licking all over her face. I smile, and pet the dogs head, Griffin looking at me "Isn't he cute?" She asks and I nod. 

"How much?" I ask.

"$400, which is pretty cheap for pure breads, and he's got all his shots and is neutered and everything" 

"I expected to pay more if I'm honest" I chuckle, grabbing my wallet. I pull out 400 in cash and Griffin looks at me in surprise "I was prepared" I wink at her and she laughs. 

Once we leave Ryan's house, we drive to the pet store to get the things he needs "What should we name him?" Griffin asks, carrying around the store like a baby. 

"I don't know" I shrug. 

"I feel like naming him Blue because of his eyes is too cliche, and Smokey because he's gray is a mess. So, I don't know either" She sighs "Let's name him Moose" She giggles "It's weird and I like it" 

"You're weird too, so I guess it works" 

She laughs and we take everything to check out, driving back to our apartment. Griffin puts him down once we walk through our front door, Moose running all over the place. 

"He's so cute" She gushes "Thank you so much" She wraps her arms around my shoulders, kissing me repeatedly "I love you so much"

"You better" I chuckle, kissing her nose. 

The next morning I wake up curled around Griffin, Griffin curled around Moose. I smile, and Griffin kisses Moose's head and he sits up, licking her face "Ew gross" She laughs "I don't like this" 

"What time is it?" I ask groggily.

"Almost 10:45" 

"Shit, I have to leave soon to meet with my new football team" I roll out of bed, I walk to the bathroom to shower and get dressed, kissing Griffin's cheek.

"Wanna come with me?" I ask.

"No, I'm okay" She shakes her head.

"You sure? I know you like football players" I wink and she laughs.

"As tempting as that sounds, Tiana and I are hanging out today" 

"Okay then, I'll be back soon" I kiss her nose, Moose sticking his head in the way. I laugh and kiss his head, walking out of the bedroom.

"Don't find another girlfriend!" Griffin yells after me.

"No promises!" 

"At least make sure she's uglier than me" She yells with a laugh.

"That might be a little difficult but I'll see what I can do" I yell back which makes her laugh even harder.

"I love you" 

"I love you more, Baby"
