I wake up the next morning to an empty bed, and an annoying knocking on my door. I climb out of bed, hearing that my shower is running and I conclude that Griffin is in the shower. I walk to my door and open it, seeing a very bright eyed Tiana at my door.

"Hi" She grins, pushing past me.

"Hi" I yawn, shutting my door and climbing back into my bed. Tiana climbs into my bed too, laying my head in her lap.

"Did you just wake up?" She asks with a laugh and I nod.

"And I'm going to go back to sleep" I pull the blanket higher on me "Where's Zach?"

"He's still on the way, he had a test today so he had a later flight than I did" She shrugs "Where's Griffin?"

"I'm guessing she's the one in the shower" I itch my nose.

"Oh, do you know what today is?" She asks, running her fingers through my hair.

"My homecoming game?"

"Besides that" She smacks my head lightly, rolling her eyes.

"No idea" I shake my head.

"It's Griffin's birthday!" She exclaims "Our baby is 19 today"

"What?" I sit up quickly "Why didn't she tell me?"

"I don't know" She shrugs "She said that no one really knows"

"Well, shit" I huff "I can't believe she didn't tell me"

"So what, you're going to give her a little something, something" She wiggles her eyebrows at me and I roll my eyes.

"Haha, very funny" 

"Aw, make it all about her though" 

"It always is" 

"What?" She asks in surprise "She's never like blown you or anything?" She asks.

"Nope, I got a hand job once but that was it" I shrug.

"And when was this?"

"Senior week" I mumble. 

"Woah, that was so long ago" 

"Meh, it's no big deal" I shrug "I'm not like, oh my girl has to blow me, or anythinG" 

Just as Tiana is about to respond, Griffin walks out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around her head and a fresh outfit on her body.

"Hey!" Tiana hops out of bed, running over to Griffin.

"Hi!" Griffin laughs, returning Tiana's enthusiasm. Tiana leans closer to Griffin and whispers something to her, which makes Griffin's eyes widen, before she glares at her.

"Oh, would you look at that" Tiana looks down at her wrist as if there's a watch there "Zach should be landing any minute. Gotta go" She runs out of my dorm room, leaving a pretty pissed off Griffin alone with me.

"Hi Baby" I grin, and she rolls her eyes.

"She lied, you know" She says, and I look at her in confusion "It's not my birthday"

"I don't believe you" I shake my head, getting out of my bed and walking over to Griffin, wrapping my arms around her waist "I know it's your birthday" I kiss her nose.

"No it's not" She shakes her head and I give her a knowing look and she sighs "Okay, fine it is"

"Why didn't you want me knowing?"

"I didn't want it to be made into a big deal" She shrugs.

"Well, lucky for you, I don't have enough time to make it into big deal" I narrow my eyes at her and she giggles.

"I'm very lucky" She nods "Don't be upset I didn't tell you, it's not that big of a deal"

"It is to me" I sigh "But, happy birthday Baby Girl" I kiss her lips softly, and she smiles, wrapping her arms around my shoulders.

"Thank you" She pecks my lips again "I love you"

I'll never get tired of hearing her say that.

"I love you" I kiss her nose "What do you want to do today?" I ask "I don't have to leave for football until 6"

"I don't care" She shrugs "Whatever you want"

"I don't care either" I shrug as well "Let's see if Zach's here and we can all go out together" I grab my phone and text Zach asking where he is. He texts back within seconds and tells me he and Tiana are on their way to their hotel.

"Are they here?" Griffin asks, playing with the chain around her neck, the one that holds my championship ring.

"Yeah" I nod, texting Zach to tell him we'll be there in twenty minutes "Let's go Princess" I hold out my hand and she rolls her eyes as she takes my hand.

"Don't call me Princess" She cringes and I laugh loudly.

"Sorry Baby" I kiss her temple, and she rolls her eyes playfully. We walk out to the parking lot and get into my car, driving to their hotel. Once we get there, I park, but neither of us are quick to get out of the car. 

"So, if I win tonight-"

"We're going to have hot steamy sex" She winks, and I choke on my breath which makes her laugh "I'm serious though" She climbs out of the car, walking into the hotel. I follow after her, calling her name which makes her speed up, her giggles getting louder. 

"Are you serious? Like actually serious?" I ask, and she nods.

"Why wouldn't I be?" She asks, pressing the button to the elevator. 

"I don't know" I shrug, cupping her face in my hands as she leans against my chest, her arms wrapping around my waist. She leans up on her toes and kisses my cheeks. 

The door to the elevator opens, and an elderly couple walks in, leaning against the wall. Griffin leans her head against my chest, and I kiss her forehead "I love you" I mumble against her forehead. 

"I love you" She hums, and soon the elevator doors open for Tiana and Zach's floor and we walk out. Walking to her room, I swing our hands back and forth making her laugh "You're so weird" 

I knock on their door and Zach opens it, smiling "Hey, come in" He opens the door wider and walks ahead of us, Griffin pushing the door shut. 

"Griffin!" Tiana yells "I just saw you this morning but I'm still so happy to see you" 

"Likewise" She laughs. 

"So, what are we doing today before we go to the game?" 

"I want to shop" Tiana raises her hand.

"Okay, that good with you?" Zach asks Griffin and I.

"Sure, let's go"
