Decided to double update because last chapter was short.

"How can I help you?" The lady asks, her tone bored, a slight roll to her eyes.

"I'm here to see Max Stone" I gulp, mumbling nervously. Her eyes widen slightly, as she looks at me up and down.

"And who are you?" She asks with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm his daughter ma'am" I say, praying that I don't have to put up with this torture any longer.

"Do you have ID?"

"Yes" I nod, pulling out my wallet and handing her my drivers license. She takes it and examines it, before holding it up, and looking between me and my drivers license picture. She takes it, and walks to a copy machine, scanning it and bringing it back to me, sliding it to me.

"Hold out your hand" She says, her bored tone back again. I hold my hand towards her and she stamps it, before telling me where I need to go. I follow her directions and soon I'm met with a small room, with one table, chairs on each side. The guard by the door stops me by raising his hand and I stop before it can touch me.

"Who are you here to see?" He asks.

"Max Stone" I answer, and for the second time after saying his name, his eyes widen, and he looks me up and down.

"Have a seat, he'll be brought out I'm a moment" He says, and I nod, taking a seat and looking down at my hands. The door opens and I sit up straight, watching as my dad walks into the room, a smirk on his face as he's pushed down into the chair in front of me. He looks at me with dead eyes, and I look him over, wondering how this man could possibly be my father.

"Didn't expect to see you" He chuckles "Figured it'd be your mom, she's always told me how much she misses me"

"I highly doubt it" I spit, but he shakes his head.

"You've always been short tempered, haven't you?"

"Thanks to you" I smirk.

"But really, why are you here?" He asks, and I look at the guard standing at the corner of the room, seeing he's lost in his own little world.

"I want to know why you did it" I place my hands on the table "The day you left, all you told me was she deserved it. But she didn't!" I raise my voice slightly, looking over to see the guard still not paying attention "I had to sit there and watch her die in my arms at thirteen years old all because of you"

"Sweetheart, I'm going to tell you something" He leans forward, his arms resting on the table "You're precious little Mandy, wasn't as innocent as you thought" He chuckles "No she was not" He shakes his head "The things she could do was magical, especially being thirteen, it's... Indescribable"

"You're sick! You deserve to be here, you deserve to rot in hell for everything you did" I pound my fist on he table, my jaw clenched, but he same stupid smirk on his face "You ruined my life, you ruined her life, you ruined moms life. But you, you gave yourself the life you've always deserved" I growl, and he chuckles.

"Seeing you so angry, just makes me think what I did was worth everything"

"Fuck you"

"Hmm, I remember when Mandy said that to me... But I think it went a little like 'I want to-'." I cut him off by reaching across the table and smacking him across his face. His face turns red with anger, and he struggles in his seat, the cuffs linking him to his chair keeping him down.

"Hey! Cut it out!" He guard yells at my dad, and he settles in his seat, looking at me with wild eyes.

"You don't know what you're doing" He shakes his head "You don't know what I'm capable of, I could end you"
