Kaden's POV
Back in Castor, my uncle was still brainwashing me that the Cordovans deserve to die, but I just didn't think that way anymore. Or did I? One day, he asked me "do you know the real reason why we hate the Cordovans nephew?"
Seated at my desk, I scan through some final documents until I look up with my sapphire eyes, "Castor and Terresen have been at war for centuries uncle. They pose a threat to our rule."
My uncle agrees and sits down, "you remember my sister, don't you?"
I lean back in my chair "Elena?"
He sighs, "Yes. Well, she gets married to Damaris and the Gardel's are furious, because they got married without our consent. And I loved her very much, so that's why...you know."
Dragging his finger along his throat, I raise an eyebrow "that's impossible uncle. If Elena was your sister, then that means-"
"That's why you have to do it. So no more incidents like that ever happen."
My mind was still wrapping around the words my uncle just said Elena was his sister.

Emily's POV
Feeling the soft, cotton sheets between my fingers, I take a soft breath, "I'm back at the castle. What will Kaden think?"
Sitting up, I throw my hair back into a messy bun and blink. Pushing the covers off me, I walk across the cold floor and take off my top. Roaming through my closet, I find a nice red dress. Putting it on, it comes down to my knees as I grab my shoes and walk out. Running my slightly shaking fingers through my hair, I spot him in the library.
"Hope you don't mind the interruption."
His head rises up as he places his book down, his slight beard and bejeweled eyes growing heavy with concern as he gets up, "Emily, I..."
Not caring who will see me, my feet make a dash over toward him as I plant a kiss on his lips. Pulling back, I hug him "it seems like forever."
Kaden seems surprised by the kiss, yet hugs me back and kisses my forehead, "I'm glad you're here Emily. I missed you," he blushes. Biting his lip, he lifts his finger under my chin to raise my eyes to his, "why did you come back?"
"To be honest, I don't know. But hopefully that will change."
Using his eyes to scan my body, he kisses me and places his arms on my waist. Hearing him mumble words to me, I kiss his cheek "I love you."
Feeling his breath on my neck, Kaden smiles, grips my waist and commands, "close the door." Not understanding what he meant, I ask "what for?"
"Close the door," using his stern voice. Obeying, I shut the door quietly and keep my hand on the brass handle. Coming up behind me, I feel his touch on my skin and gasp, "you're warm."
Chuckling "surprise," he travels his arm down mine and unzips my dress. Turning me around, Kaden kicks off his shoes and plants tiny kisses on my neck. Closing my eyes, my dress falls to the floor and his hand intertwines with my hair.
Eyes locked on mine, Kaden speaks "if this is wrong, I don't want it to be right," as he feels me all over. Getting pure sensation, I kiss him again as he pushes me to the floor.
   "Ow!"
Getting on me, he runs a hand down my leg and makes his way toward my de-flowering area. Rubbing it gently, he deepens the kiss as I try not to moan. Blonde hair spread out, my now shaking hands go to his shirt and undo the buttons. Moving my lips down his chest, he closes his eyes and tugs my lip. Smiling, I run my nails up his back and grow wet. He kisses down to my stomach and spreads my legs. Sighing slightly, Kaden kisses my inner thigh and grins, "you're amazing, you know that?"

I nod as he pauses and his face looks at the ground. Quick as a flash, he pushes off the ground, grabs his shirt and opens the door to go out. Sitting up, I grab my dress to cover myself and look around the room. Realizing "His Majesty," forgot his shoes, I roll my eyes, "classic Kaden."
