Bea's To Do List #28: Say a pre-goodbye to the theater
"Hey there."
"Len?"
"Yep."
"What are you doing here?"
"Noah called me."
"He did?"
"Mhmm."
"Oh."
"So how's it going?"
"Not well."
"Yeah, I can see that. You want to tell me what's going on?"
"No."
"Bea, come on."
"No."
"I'm your best friend, just tell me."
"I don't want it to end."
"You don't want what to end?"
"The theater."
"Is it ending?"
"My time here is ending."
"I see."
"It's just, I haven't had many constants in my life-"
"Uh huh."
"And the theater is one of them."
"I know."
"And I just can't say goodbye yet."
"I understand."
"You do?"
"I do."
"So what should I do?"
"You should get up and we should go get some food."
"Food?"
"Mhmm, that will make you feel better. And then we can say a pre-goodbye to the theater."
"A pre-goodbye?"
"Yeah. It's not a real goodbye, not yet, but it helps you get ready for that real goodbye."
"That makes sense."
"It's a win-win. You don't have to give anything up yet but you're already open to the idea of saying goodbye."
"Okay."
"So are you ready to go get some food?"
"Yes, I am."
"Good, let's go."
