Patrick didn't come home for three hours after school.
But when he came back, he was with Tyler and they both looked like they'd been crying.
"Patrick!" I hugged him.
"Hey Josh." They said simultaneously.
"Hey Tyjo."
Tyler stayed for a few hours and then left before my mum came home from work.
"What happened? You're all shook up." I kissed his cheek.
"Tyler's friend committed suicide."
"What? Wait what? Like just then? What the fuck?"
"No, like last year. He told me the story. Spencer Smith, he said."
"Spencer?"
"Yeah."
"I swear Brendon used to know that guy."
