"So where have you been staying?" I asked.
He went pale.
"I uh- I am uh-staying in a h-hotel?" He said, as it it were a question.
I didn't interrogate him further.

"Josh! Oh my god, Josh!" Brendon called, running up to me and hugging me tightly.
"Hey, what's up?"
"I'm moving." I noticed he was crying, whereas I was more in shock.
"Wait what? Where?"
"New York."
"Oh my god."
Even Tyler looked teary eyed.
"When?"
"Two weeks."
"Oh."

"Tyler?"
"Yeah?"
"Can you sing me a song?"
"What?"
"A song. A happy one."
"They're all depressing."
"A sad one that sounds happy."
"Okay."
He leans against me and sang softly.

I ended up drifting to sleep while listening to his songs, but when I awoke,
