"You're Tyler, right?" Two girls had come up to me.
"Yeah."
One had pink and black hair, one half pink and vice versa. The other had short blue hair and I had to admit, she was pretty.
But, I'm not that into girls or anything.
"I'm Melanie, this is Ashley." She smiled.
"Hi."
At that moment, I turned my head to see Josh walking to his first class.
"What, you like him?" Ashley asked.
"What!"
"You do. I don't blame you, he's cute."
"Mel, isn't that the guy who's dating Patrick?"
"Oh my god! It is!"
"His names Josh."
"Go get him, Tyler!"
"What the fuck? I'm not gay!"
"I'm sure you're as straight as a ruler." Ashley said.
"Thank you."
"One of those cheap, supermarket bendy ones!" They laughed like it was the funniest thing in the world.

"Wait, Tyler!" Melanie called just as I started to walk away,
"It's our kik usernames."
"Thanks, I guess." I smiled and walked off.
"Smell ya later." Melanie said, walking away.
I made my first-no, second friends. Maybe today wasn't so bad, after all.
