Vik's POV

For the rest of the week if was nothing but cloudy and stormy, throughout the manor there was a miserable gloom that hung over letting us drown in misery and loss.

Rain kept pouring, thunder kept booming louder and louder each day, and lighting nearly striking us.

It was not all sunshine and rainbows like it was supposed to be but ever since Rob left this fairy tale seemed to change drastically.

We all usually sat in uncomfortable silence at the dinner table as most of us stared at the empty seat next to Preston who only gawked at his food, to ashamed to look at the seat next to him, bags hanged under his dull bronze eye's, usually someone would try lightening up the mood by telling funny stories but usually it would only die out like another funny story.

The food we all came to love, suddenly died out and there was no flavor nor, any pleasure in eating it we all just starred and ate what was in front of us, most of the time we don't really finish it and give it out to the dogs in the back.

Preston didn't really talk, all he did was talk when needed, and ever since Rob left we all have changed.

It was weird and not to mention Rob's chair wasn't the only one empty and Preston wasn't the only one who was gloomed to the bone, next to Mitch Jerome's chair was left with no presence of life. That day Rob and Jerome both disappeared, leaving no trace of anything.

But somewhat we already knew where they were heading.

We tried to contact them through Lachlan's magic, but there was a blockage to each call and Lachlan would try his best to contact them, but only end up with a bloody nose and a painful migraine.

So we would make him stop, because we didn't want to lose another element user.

We have no news from the Northern kingdom about anyone attacking nor, anyone seizing the kingdom.

We didn't know what was going on but we planned to leave out tomorrow morning, and travel the day to the kingdom. We were ready all of us packed, our new weapons in our cases and fighting spirit trapped inside of us.

"We will win this, and retrieve Rob and Jerome back, I promise." Pete's voice spoke. We all looked up at him surprised by his sudden speech.

"Rob and Jerome are one of our strongest, they just went up ahead to clear the way for us, I know it." Pete stood up his glass in his hand.

"Let's wish the best of luck to them." Many of us slowly stood up glass in our hands.

"Let's hope for a great journey tomorrow." Mitch spoke.

"We will win this." Matt yelled, most of us nodded and screamed with him.

"WE WILL WIN THIS FOR OUR KINGDOMS, OUR PEOPLE, OUR LAND, OUR FREEDOM, AND FOR OUR FRIENDS!" Pete screamed, his voice echoing down the hall, we raised our glasses and clashed our cups together, yelling in pure fighting spirit.

Preston and Mitch looked as if they were going to cry, but they pulled through and smiled to their best content because they knew they weren't alone.

We're all this together.

And so then.

The rest of the night was filled with laughs and playful stories that made our burdens feel much lighter.

Many of us knew that this might be our last night together at the manor, so we enjoyed ourselves to the best content.

We knew our friends were out there somewhere, somewhat cheering us on, we could feel it.
