19 YEARS LATER
I stood in front of the Hogwarts Express, watching the steam rise up from the top of the train.
"Where's Harry and Ginny? They should've been here by now." Hermione mused, holding her daughter Rose's hand tightly.
I turned to look at her. After Neville managed to kill Nagini (who was a Horcruxe) with the Sword of Gryffindor and Harry ended up killing Voldemort (something I thought would never happen), I realized I had nowhere to go. To my surprise, Ron asked if I wanted to live with him. That was a big shock, considering we hated each other most of our lives. But after I'd switched sides, the three of them instantly gained respect for me. And as the years passed, we all became close.
Hermione and Ron got married (something I knew was bound to happen), and had two beautiful children, Hugo and Rose, whom I loved very much.
Harry and Ginny were married as well and had three children; James Sirius, Albus Severus, and Lily Luna.
I lived with Ron and Hermione in their home, and I was forever grateful to them, considering my father...or Draco...never came back for me.
"There he is, Mum!" Rose said, waving giddily to Harry and Ginny, along with their children.
I turned and saw them walking towards us.
I grinned as they approached and I pulled Ginny in for a hug first. We've put all our differences aside now that I was basically part of the family, and she seemed to forget that incident in the hallway on the night of the battle.
I pulled away from her and hugged Harry now.
"Hey, Bradshaw." He said playfully.
I chuckled.
"Morning, Potter."
I looked over their two sons and one beautiful daughter.
"Hi, Aunt Elizabeth!" They said, and I smiled, loving the nickname they'd all given me.
"Hello. Ready for Hogwarts?" I asked. James nodded excitedly, Lily frowned because she was still too young to attend Hogwarts, and Albus' shoulders shrunk, a worried expression on his face. It was his first year, and I could tell he was nervous.
"What's wrong, Albus?" I asked him.
He looked up at me.
"What if the Sorting Hat puts me into Slytherin?" He asked smally.
I glanced at Harry and Ginny. Ginny was talking to Hermione and Ron, but Harry was looking at me. He gave me a short nod and gestured to his son.
I knelt down in front of Albus so we were eye to eye.
"One of the greatest wizards me and your father ever knew was in Slytherin." I said, meaning Snape.
When he didn't budge, I gave him a tiny grin.
