"Great job today guys. Zack, great guitar solo. We'll pick up where we-" he said making up some fake "end of the day thing" since we didn't even play music. Then the bell rung. "That's the bell!" Mr, Finn said, grabbing his briefcase and walking out of the classroom. I got up and went over to Tomika, who was talking to Zack.

"Hey guys!"

"Hey." Tomika said. Zack just nodded.

"Do you guys want to come over after school today?" I asked.

"Can't."

"Awe Tomiks, why not?"

"I'm going over Owen's house!" She exclaimed.

"Ooooh." Zack and I said, looking at each other.

"Sorry."

"No, I'm excited for you. Zack, can you come over?"

"Yeah, I think so. Let me just text my dad." He pulled out his phone.

"Who else are you inviting?" Tomika asked.

"Oh just Katie, Lawrence, Ben-"

"Hey dudes, what's up?" A voice came from behind us. It was Freddy.

"Nothing much bro." Zack said.

"Love to stay and chat, but I gotta go." Tomika said.

"Bye Tomiks! Text me later!" I called after her as she ran down the hall to meet up with Owen.

"Hey Summer, my dad said yes. What time do you want me over?"

"Four-thirty should be fine."

"Aright sweet."

"What's this all about?" Freddy asked.

"Summer's just having a few people over."

"Oh."

"Alright Summer, I've gotta go. See you later. Bye Freddy!" He said, giving Freddy two pats on the back and walking away.

"So..." I said.

"Summer?"

"Yeah," I looked up at him.

"I was wondering if you wanted to-"

"Hey guys." It was Ben, "what's up?" I immediately forgot about Freddy. I perked right up.

"Nothing! Hey would your mom mind if you came over tonight?"

"Probably not, who's going to be there?"

"Ahh, let's see. You, if your mom says yes, Zack, and I haven't asked them yet but Katie and Lawrence. Tomika can't go."

"Sweet. I'll call my mom and see what she says."

"Ok! And my mom can always give you a ride." I just got a text from Katie saying she was coming. "Actually, Katie just texted me saying she was coming . I'm giving her a ride to my house so if you want one you can have one too. It's just you'll be there really early..."

"Sounds great! I'll text my mom and let her know."

"Anyways, my moms here. We should go." I said. I glanced over and completely forgot Freddy was there.

"Oh, bye Freddy. Have fun in detention." I said, after that, Ben and I left and Freddy either just stayed there or walked away. I don't remember. I hope he wasn't mad at me for saying "bye" to him. I mean, he was the one who kept walking with me and he was talking to me, so really, he had no right to be angry.
