After the opening ceremonies, each group from each district went into their rooms where they would stay for the next 2 weeks while training.

Jack

As Effie opened the door and they stepped into the room, Jack and Mark's jaw dropped as they stepped into what felt like a mansion. They had a huge living room, a dining room set, a full bathroom, and their rooms were also huge. About the size of what a regular hotel room would be.

"So this is where you will be living for the next 2 weeks as you two begin training." Effie said.
"Don't worry, I've already made myself comfortable." Mark said as he laid on a couch.
"Don't make yourselves too comfortable." Signe stated.
"It's actually getting very late as it is," Effie agreed, "I think you boys should start heading to your rooms and getting some sleep. Tomorrow you start training."
"Aww c'mon, 5 more minutes!" Mark said.

Jack rolled his eyes as he headed into his bedroom. As he sat on the bed, he looked out the window, noticing the entire view of the Capitol from his window. He noticed a remote on his nightstand. At first, he thought it was for the television, but as he looked around, he saw no television in sight. Curious, he turned on the remote. He suddenly became blinded by the light emitting from the window, that happened to be a screen. Jack went through each screen. One was a forest, another one was the city.

The next one he went through however, was his own home, his own room. He immediately turned it off in shock. These rooms were specially designed for him and Mark to try and make them as comfortable as possible, or was it also to partially torture them that they would never see their families again?

Felix

"Where the hell is it?" Felix asked.
"I can't find it anywhere!" Ken responded.

Cry came into the room, a smirk on his face.

"I've hidden the liquor," Cry explained, smirking slightly, "You two need to deserve the liquor. So if you guys train hard tomorrow, I'll let you two have one glass."
"Since when did you become our moms?" Felix asked.
"I happen to be your mentor, so I am technically in charge of you two." Cry stated, "and I'm asking you two to go to bed."

Ken rolled his eyes as he went into his room. Felix continued to glare at Cry.

"You'll come to find that me hiding the liquor was worth it." Cry said. "Trust me."

Felix did nothing, but he eventually walked into his room.

Phil

Phil opened his eyes, looking at the ceiling. He had another nightmare. He knew he couldn't stand the thought of being separated from Dan. They even made him separate and sleep in their two separate rooms in their apartment.

Phil tossed and turned, looking out the window, to the view of the city, then he looked back up at the ceiling. Tears swelled in his eyes. He knew he wouldn't be able to fall back asleep without Dan comforting him. He knew that he couldn't leave and try and sneak into Dan's room, because they locked the door, and it was locked from the inside.

So he just laid there and waited to fall back asleep, which seemed to have taken forever, but he eventually somehow fell asleep.

The next day, the entire group of tributes went into the training room, wearing the uniforms provided for them. The people in charge explained to them what types of training they would be doing throughout the next several weeks. Part of their training would be practicing using weapons and the next part would be training for survival.

Mark and Jack immediately started off training by having Jack teach Mark everything he remembered about the classes they both had to take when they were younger. Jack remembered each weapon and how exactly they had to use it. Mark was impressed, and what by the people of the Capitol could see, they were also impressed as well.

Felix and Ken practiced using their weapons and trained to earn their liquor just like Cry had promised. Felix and Ken both tried to be better than one another.

Matt and Ryan did the exact same thing, only they weren't doing it for fun, it was a real competition. They both broke out in fights every time one did better than the other to the point where they had to be separated.

Dan and Phil worked separately as promised. Every now and then, Phil would take a glimpse at Dan, to make sure he wasn't making any friends with any of the other tributes, and not thinking of forming an alliance with them behind his back. So far, that didn't seem to be the case.

Robert spent his entire training session using every weapon to try and figure out what weapon would be best for him. It was then found out that the axe was the best for him, but he still had to practice a lot with it in order to fully get used to and be in control of it. Matthias was in no rush during training, he took his time with everything. Sometimes he would take quick breaks to think about why he was doing this. Not only because he had to, but he wanted to win this so that he could see his family again.

Bob and Wade, however, tried to avoid the training area as much as possible. When people were observing, they would pretend that they were training, but whenever they were on their own, they hardly ever touched a weapon. They didn't want to fight. They didn't want to kill anybody.

hey guys! This next chapter and maybe the next chapter afterwards will be kinda rushed because I just want to get to the part where they go one by one in the training and then to the night before the games. So I'll be working on that soon!

More to come!
