Jack
The entire group heard Amanda calling her two year old daughter as she started running away from the group. Jack looked to Signe, then to Mark.
"That kid hasn't said a word since we first met!" Mark said.
"Maybe she's just not used to her surroundings." Jack suggested.
Signe went wide-eyed as she watched the entire group follow Amanda.
"This may sound crazy, but I think I know what's going on." Signe stated.
Mark and Jack looked at each other before finally catching up to the group.
Amanda
Amanda stood there in shock as she saw Matthias holding onto Luna. Lots of thoughts and emotions went through her mind as she was staring at him.
This can't be Matthias... Matthias died in the games... I saw it myself... Is this just a hallucination??
Matthias didn't say anything to Amanda. Instead, he only smiled brightly, his eyes twinkling with emotion as he was almost about to cry.
"A-Amanda..." Matthias smiled. "I-It's really me."
Amanda slowly approached him. She then reached out her hand and touched his face and his shoulder. It felt exactly like him.
Amanda then couldn't help herself. She quickly embraced him, crying tears of joy on his shoulder.
Just then, the rest of the group came in.
Amanda immediately noticed President Coin with a smile on her face.
"W-What's going on?" Amanda asked. "My husband's alive!"
"Well, we were going to tell you all after the ceremony." President Coin stated. "But it seems as though your curious little two year old couldn't help herself."
"I'm so sorry about that." Amanda said.
"No need for apologies." President Coin smiled.
Mark
Mark's eyes went wide as he saw Matthias. He was alive. How was that possible?
President Coin then faced the rest of the group.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to inform you all the the remaining tributes from the last Hunger Games are in fact alive and here as we speak." President Coin addressed. "After the games had mysteriously ended, a couple of our spies actually went to the Capitol and brought back the bodies of the other seven dead tributes. We were able to successfully revive them all and keep them hidden from the Capitol ever since."
Everybody's jaw dropped, and looks of relief came across Mark, Jack, Phil and Ryan. All of the tributes that they had previously killed or watched die in the games were all miraculously now alive. The suffering at this point, seemed to basically be over.
But they knew there were still a couple of orders of business to take care of. They each had to go talk to them and ask for their forgiveness from the Hunger Games.
Ryan
As the entire group was leaving the room to reunite with the other tributes, Ryan approached Matthias, who he had killed in the beginning of the games by slitting his throat. How District 13 was miraculously able to revive him after that, he had no idea. But he didn't want to argue about it.
"Hey man." Ryan said.
"Hey." Matthias said, rather happy to see him.
"Listen, I'm glad you're alive and that you're reunited with your family." Ryan explained. "But I just want to sincerely apologize for what I did to you in the games."
"It's the Hunger Games, Ryan." Matthias stated. "You have to fight to win, you did what you had to do."
"But ever since the bizarre circumstance that me and three other tributes were taken back to the Capitol, I felt terrible for what I had done to you and so many other people." Ryan explained.
"Ryan, it's all over. We're all alive. You have nothing to worry about anymore." Matthias assured him.
Ryan smirked a smile and Matthias patted him on the shoulder as they finally joined the rest of the group.
All of the group was brought into one room. President Coin left momentarily to bring the other tributes from the game to reunite with them. Ryan was kind of nervous to be reunited with several other people who he had killed. But it seemed like that's how Mark, Jack and Phil were.
The first thing the other tributes did as soon as they entered the room was reunite with their actual families. Ryan waited until the families had settled down to approach them each one by one.
The first person he went to, was Ken. He then went to Bob afterwards. Both of them were forgiving because neither of them wanted to be a part of the game in the first place and knew they would die.
The other person he had to talk to however, was Matt. Who he has not been friends with since way before the games.
But when Ryan approached Matt, he was surprised to see Matt actually happy. Matt actually went up to him and hugged him.
"You're actually not mad at me?" Ryan asked immediately.
"I'm done causing drama with you Ryan." Matt explained. "That's why I just want to forgive you, forget this whole thing between us ever happened, and move on."
"I'd love to do that." Ryan nodded. "But does this mean we're friends again?"
"Let's take it one step at a time." Matt responded.
Ryan nodded in agreement. Relieved to know that everyone had forgiven him for his terrible actions from the games.
Dan
Dan approached Felix, who both hugged each other.
"Quite a move you pulled on me that night." Felix said.
Dan paused, feeling extremely awkward.
"Don't worry man, you pulled more moves on Phil than anybody else anyways." Felix then added.
Dan couldn't help but laugh, but he also rolled his eyes at the remark Felix made.
Mark
Mark and Wade were happy to see one another again after the tragic event that happened with Wade.
"How have you been holding up?" Wade decided to say after reuniting with Mark.
"It's been Hell, Wade." Mark responded. "It's been Hell."
Jack
Jack saw Robert talking to his own family. Jack smirked a smile, happy to know that his family and him were reunited after everything that happened.
As Robert was talking, he noticed Jack. Jack stood there frozen, but he decided to smile and give a wave as memories flashed back of when he left Robert to die with the tracker jackers.
Robert approached Jack. He didn't really seem happy but he didn't seem upset or mad either.
As Robert and Jack were close enough to each other, Jack finally began to speak.
"Hey Robert, I--"
Just then, without any warning, he felt a punch right in his face and he fell over, nearly blacking out.
His vision was blurry but he could hear a lot of people telling.
Just then, he saw Mark and Signe running over to him.
"Jack, are you alright?" Mark asked.
Jack didn't say anything, he was more shocked at the fact that Robert had just punched him in the face. He didn't understand why he was the one that had to get the punch in the face even when other people did much worse than him.
But, in a way, he felt like he deserved it.
"Jack, can you hear us?" Signe asked.
"Y-Yeah I'm fine." Jack nodded. "I'm just surprised that--"
He then lifted his hand to his cheek and hissed at the pain as soon as he touched it.
President Coin then approached them.
"Can you two please take Jack to get him some ice?" President Coin asked. "I'm going to have a talk with Robert."
Signe and Mark immediately nodded and took Jack out of the room.
