Mark

As Mark was in his room, he could hear banging, screaming and shouting in the room right near him. It sounded like it came from Phil's room.

Suddenly, he heard a gunshot, followed by somebody screaming. The voice sounded all too familiar to him, but he couldn't quite make it out.

Just then, everything became quiet and the doors slowly opened. Without any hesitation, he left the room and ran over to the room where he could hear all the action from.

There, lying on the ground, lifeless, was Phil.

"Oh my god..." he mumbled to himself as he ran over to his side. He checked Phil's pulse. There was nothing.
"WE NEED HELP IN HERE!" Mark screamed loudly.

Just then, Ryan came into the room.

"What the hell happened?" Ryan asked.
"I dunno all I heard were gunshots and then I came and found Phil!" Mark exclaimed.
"What are we gonna do?" Ryan asked.
"We need to try and save him somehow!" Mark exclaimed.
"But I don't know how to remove a bullet or perform CPR!" Ryan said.

Just then, all the family members came into the room. Phil's mother saw Phil lying on the floor and screamed. Mark immediately ran over to her.

"Listen, Phil is not dead, were not gonna let that happen." Mark explained. "All we need is somebody who can perform first aid."

Just then, Amanda stepped forward.

"I know some first aid, I can give it a try." She stated.
"You've removed bullets before?" Mark asked.
"Not necessarily bullets, but other small items from body parts." Amanda explained.
"Alright, that's perfect, that's all we need." Mark exclaimed.

Mark then had everybody except Ryan, Phil's Mom and Amanda leave the room.

Amanda was just about to grab some tools when suddenly, Phil mysteriously gasped for breath out of nowhere, coming back to life. He then opened his eyes as the first thing he saw was his mother.

"Mum?" He asked.
"Phil! You're alright!" His Mom cried.

While the two of them embraced one another, Mark became confused. Phil had no pulse before, there was no explanation as to how he could mysteriously come back to life again.

Jack

Jack and Dan were both carried back up into the main hall and into the same exact room they were trapped in before. As soon as the door opened, the two of them were shoved into the room. Dan laid in the exact position he was but Jack immediately stood up and faced Seneca Crane.

"Try to escape this time, Jack." Seneca told Jack. "I dare you."
"We'll never stop Seneca!" Jack exclaimed. "We will escape and tell the world everything that has happened!"
"By the time you do that," Seneca continued. "The world will be destroyed."

Just before Seneca left, he turned and faced Jack again.

"And this time, the wall is staying up." Seneca stated.

Seneca finally left the room, closing and locking the door behind him.

Jack turned and looked at Dan, who was lying on the floor, hearing him silently sob.

"Phil's gone..." Dan sobbed. "It's all my fault."
"Dan, Phil is not dead." Jack began. "There is no way Seneca would just decide to randomly kill him when we're all so important to him."
"But what if he was no longer was important?" Dan asked.
"I doubt that, Dan." Jack assured him. "But all I know is Phil is not dead. Seneca did it as a trick to scare and upset you."
"Then, what did Seneca shoot him with?" Dan asked. "It looked like a gun."
"With all the technology that's here in the Capitol, who in the hell knows?" Jack responded.

Phil

Phil opened his eyes. The first thing he felt was the pain that was going on in his chest. Something was inside of it or something. He then looked around, noticing Mark, one of the tribute's family members, Amanda, and then he noticed his mother, who looked like she had just been in tears.

"Mum?" Phil asked.
"Phil! You're alright!" She cried as she embraced him.

Phil was a bit confused at first, but as the two of them were embracing one another, the flashback of him being shot rang into his head. That's why his mother was upset. Then, he realized who he saw before he got shot. Dan. He was alive. But where was he?

All of his thoughts were interrupted by the pain ringing in his chest again. He could feel it just under his skin. He looked down, noticing a hole in his chest where the bullet was placed. He knew what he did next wasn't smart, but he felt like he could get the bullet out right then and there, so he stuck two fingers and dug the bullet out. Despite all the pain, he managed to get it out.

"What kind of bullet is that?" Mark asked.
"And how did it not kill you?" Amanda asked.
"I'm not sure." Phil shrugged.
"Well, what do you remember from the split second after you were shot before blacking out?" Mark asked.
"I felt pain from the bullet piercing my skin." Phil explained. "But then I felt something going on inside my body, as if I were being electrocuted or something."

Everybody looked at one another while Phil just sat there totally confused.

"So this wasn't a regular bullet." Mark stated. "It was a bullet from a stungun."
"I knew he wouldn't kill him." Ryan said. "Seneca keeps saying we're all too important."
"He just did it to get Dan away from me." Phil added.
"Wait, what?" Mark asked.

Phil then looked at them seriously. "Guys, Dan is alive. I don't know how, but I saw him. With Jack. They were trying to escape wherever they were from. That's why all the alarms went off."

At first, Phil thought that they would think he was crazy. But everybody seemed amazed, yet concerned, especially Amanda.

"I-If Dan's alive..." Amanda began. "Would it be possible Matthias would be as well?"
"I'm not sure..." Mark said, looking at her. "But we need to try and figure out a way out of here. I'm done being involved in this crazy shit going on here."
"I agree." Ryan nodded.
"But how will we get out?" Phil's mother asked.
"If Dan and Jack could escape, so could we." Mark assured them.

Phil then looked up above him at the vent, which was miraculously still opened.

"I've got a plan." Phil stated.
