Jack

Jack was still awake in the pitch darkness when suddenly, the lights in the hallway and his room came on again. The light in his room actually blinding him. He felt relieved at the thought of the lights being on but he could suddenly feel exhaustion settling in from not getting any sleep. But he knew he couldn't sleep at this point now.

But as he tried to go under the covers again, his door opened and Signe came in.

"Wake up, Sleeping Beauty." Signe said.
"Do I seriously have to get up?" Jack asked. "I barely got any sleep last night."
"Whys that?" Signe asked.
"I just heard these... These trackers jackers all over me... A-as if they were attacking me." Jack explained. "But I couldn't see them... I feel like I'm losing my mind."
"You're not losing your mind, Jack, I promise." Signe assured him. "I had to go through the same exact thing after I won the games."
"Really?" Jack asked.
"Yeah." Signe nodded. "I could barely sleep for weeks and every time I tried I either had nightmares or some thoughts were going through my mind."
"I-I guess I'll be suffering the same thing then, won't I?" Jack asked.
"It all depends." Signe shrugged. "This could only be temporary and it could all suddenly go away. Everybody works differently."
"I guess you're right." Jack commented.
Signe smirked a smile, "what do you say we get something to eat?"
"I guess..." Jack said.

He slowly sat up and stood up before walking out with Signe.

"Is anything going to happen today?" Jack asked. "As far as experiments go?"
"I have no idea what will happen as far as experiments go." Signe claimed. "But I do know that a therapist from the Capitol will spend a half hour speaking to each of you."
"About what?" Jack asked.
"You'll be speaking to him about your feelings and about how you felt during the games." Signe explained.
"What will that do?" Jack asked.
"Well, it could either help you or hurt you." Signe responded. "Talking to somebody about the games for me helped. It could do the same to you."
Jack sighed, "I hope it helps me."
Signe smiled, "I hope it helps you too..."

Mark

After Mark had gotten something to eat in the cafeteria alone, he was given the opportunity to get a shower, which he immediately accepted. He hadn't properly showered since the beginning of the games. It was one of the best feelings he had felt in the longest time.

As he walked back to his room with the towel around his body, he looked through the small drawer in his room, noticing the same white clothes that he wore before. He slouched. Was this what he had to wear every single time? He decided not to argue about it though and he put the clothes on.

Just then, he heard a knock on the door and he answered it. A man with silver-like hair and a glittering black suit and tie came into the room.

"May I help you?" Mark asked.
"No..." The man responded. "But I can help you."
"What do you mean?" Mark asked.
"My name is Dorian Mackson." The man began. "I am a therapist here in the Capitol and I have been asked to come here to listen to anything you have to say to me."
Mark stood there in silence. "Uh... Okay?"
"I know you probably feel uncomfortable at the moment, especially since I just barged into your room unknowingly." Dorian explained. "But I just want you to talk to me and explain to me how you feel right now about everything going on."
"O-Okay..." Mark responded.

Mark decided to sit down in the chair.

"I feel confused, upset and exhausted." He began. "I feel confused because I have no clue what's going on despite many responses I'm getting. I feel upset because I lost some friends in the games, and I'm exhausted because I couldn't sleep last night."
"Those are all normal feelings, Mark." Dorian explained.

Phil

"I just don't know what to do." Phil said to Dorian after being asked the same question. "I thought I wanted to kill Ryan during the games, and when I was given the opportunity to do it in here, I refused to do it. I kind of regret it now..."
"Why would you want to kill that young man?" Dorian asked.
Phil didn't respond. He didn't want to have to explain everything again.

Ryan

"I feel like everyone hates me..." Ryan explained. "After having to kill most of the tributes in the games."
"Why do you feel that way?" Dorian asked. "You were only doing what you had to do."
"I know..." Ryan responded. "But after being suddenly stuck in here and after having to face Phil, I began to feel terrible for everything I had done."
"Was it because you thought he was actually going to kill you?" Dorian asked.

Ryan shrugged.

Jack

"I just feel terrible for leaving... my friend, Robert, behind." Jack explained. "That's all I've been feeling ever since last night."
"But if you had done anything different, wouldn't you have been dead?" Dorian asked.
"Maybe..." Jack responded. "But I would've rather have helped him somehow so we could've both miraculously made it out alive."
"Jack, it is normal to feel this way..." Dorian stated.

After Dorian had left, Signe came in again.

"How was it?" Signe asked.
"Pointless..." Jack exclaimed. "He didn't help at all, he didn't make it help or make it worse."
"Well, I guess that's something though." Signe responded. "Besides, not all therapists are perfect."
"You would think though since he was from the Capitol, he would be." Jack remarked.
"Well, he doesn't really get that many problems." Signe explained. "He's never had to do this for any victor before, usually the people from the victor's district would do it."
"Well, no matter what it didn't help." Jack mumbled under his breath.

Signe put her arm around his shoulder.

"Well, you still have me." Signe assured. "I've been through the exact same thing you went through. I know what's going on now is something new, but I'm sure something good will come out of this and you will be free."
"I hope you're right." Jack mumbled.
"I've never lied Jack..." Signe whispered. "I would never lie to somebody like you."

Jack looked over and smiled at Signe. "Thank you."

Signe nodded before leaving his room.

Signe

After Signe left Jack's room, she went back up above ground to the control room. She put a pair of headphones with a microphone attached on her head. She then pressed a button, which communicated with the soldiers from the Capitol.

"This is Signe... Unleash plan B." She responded.
