Jack

As Jack got back into his room, he sat down at the chair in the corner of the room and thought about what he had just saw from the reapings he witnessed on television. About the girl Katniss, who volunteered for her sister. That was just like what Jack had seen on TV with Dan. Only this time, the two of them went to the games together. He was beginning to think what would happen as the games actually started. Would they actually have everybody die in some brutal way the same exact way everyone in the last games died? Was this no longer an actual game? Was this... a test?

Jack then suddenly heard banging on his door and he stood up as he saw Capitol soldiers barging into his room, their guns pointed directly at him.

Two Capitol soldiers immediately grabbed his arms and cuffed them behind his back.

"What the hell is going on?" Jack asked. "Where are you taking me?"

Jack tried fighting them off and began demanding more answers when suddenly, he felt an electric shock in the back of his neck

And everything went black.

Mark

Mark was in his room when he heard the rush of Capitol soldier guards rushing past his room. Curious, Mark peered his head out the door. He watched as the Capitol soldiers went into a room. Mark's eyes widened as he realized they were going into Jack's room.

Mark immediately ran over into the room. He gasped as he saw two guards holding Jack by his arms, he was unconscious.

Mark was about to go in there and confront them when suddenly, he felt something being pressed against his mouth. It was tasteless, but at the same time he could taste it.

But before he could even think about what was going over his mouth, he suddenly felt himself growing dizzy. A split second later, he felt himself falling.

Then, before he could hit the ground, everything went black around him once again.

Seneca

Seneca watched as a Capitol soldier knocked Mark out and watched as he fell to the floor.

"Take him back to his room." Seneca commanded. "Make sure when he is awake, there is no evidence of what just happened here."

The Capitol soldiers nodded as two of the soldiers picked Mark up and carried him back to his room. He had the other two soldiers who had Jack follow him outside of the chambers they were being held in, and put him in a completely different room.

Jack

Jack opened his eyes. He looked around, noticing himself in a dark room. There was no light with the exception of one right above him. There wasn't any windows. Nothing.

Suddenly, he heard footsteps as somebody approached him.

Seneca.

"What the hell is going on?" Jack asked.
"We've decided to isolate you from the rest of the group." Seneca stated.
"Why? What'd I do?" Jack asked.
Seneca was silent for a moment before responding. "You didn't do anything... but you know everything."
Jack became confused. "What the hell are you talking about? I didn't even say anything."

Suddenly, he felt a rush of realization hit him as he remembered exactly what he said to Signe.

Signe... she was the only one who knew anything Jack had ever said. And now Seneca knows. Which is why he was where he was.

"Oh my god..." Jack mumbled to himself.
"Never trust anybody in here, Jack..." Seneca responded.
"I thought she was just my mentor." Jack said.
"She wasn't even a mentor to begin with." Seneca explained. "We just had you believe that so our plan would work."
"You mean the plan to experiment on us and to use what you're doing right now in these games to basically torture us?" Jack asked.
"This is why we isolated you." Seneca stated. "Because you know exactly what's going on already."
"I knew it!" Jack exclaimed. "You are trying to set everything up! You're going to make this game exactly like what we were going through!"
"That's correct." Seneca nodded. "And we don't want you anywhere near them when this all unfolds."
"So I'm just stuck here in this room for the rest of the games?" Jack asked.
"Maybe even longer than that..." Seneca responded. "But don't worry, we will provide you with everything you need to survive."
"So what? I'm just stuck here in a small room handcuffed to a chair for god knows how long?" Jack asked.
"Who said this room was small?" Seneca asked.

Suddenly, lights went on all throughout the room. Jack's eyes widened as he saw just how big the room was. It was bigger than the room he was in earlier.

"And before you even think about making a dash for the door, it's heavily guarded." Seneca stated. "If you even think of escaping you'll be killed right on the spot. And we don't want that. You're too important to us for that."
"How am I important?" Jack asked.

Seneca didn't say anything. Instead, he uncuffed Jack and he turned around and walked out the door and locked it behind him.

Jack then slowly stood up from his seat, extremely confused, but also feeling very stupid and betrayed.

Signe was the last person he could talk to for answers and support. She was somebody he could talk to. But instead, he was used as an answering machine for her and for Seneca and possibly the rest of the Capitol.

But suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted as he heard a loud banging noise. At first he thought it came from the walls outside of his room. But as he inched closer to the walls behind him, it grew louder.

He put his hands up against the wall. The banging sound hit again. He could feel the vibrations against the wall. He put his ear against the wall as well. He could hear something. Someone. It sounded like grunting.

Someone was trapped beyond this wall.

Jack began looking around, trying to find something that could perhaps break the wall. But he didn't find anything. Until he came across a small latch in the wall. It was one of those useless things sticking out of the walls that he used to bend as a kid.

But as he bent it, there was a loud clicking noise as the wall suddenly began roll down like a window.

As the wall continued to roll down, Jack's eyes widened as he saw who exactly was behind that wall.

It was somebody from the games he was in. Except he was alive... when he was supposedly dead...

Dan.
