Hunger Games: YouTuber edition

Eleven

No POV

A horn suddenly sounded and the players ran off of their pedestals. Some of them immediately ran off into the woods, waiting for the opportune moment to grab weapons and supplies. Others went right to the weapons, where they were either met with luck or fate. Some of them encountered with their death the first minute of the game.

Jack

Jack ran off from the pedestal and headed straight over to the wooded area. He didn't get very far. He hid behind a tree and waited as the other tributes grabbed their weapons and supplies and headed off. Luckily, none of them went in his direction. After making sure the coast was clear, he went into the cornucopia and grabbed the knives he's been practicing with and a bag.

Suddenly, he was startled by another tribute behind him.

Robert.

He held the knife up, pointing it right at him.

"Whoa, hey..." Robert said, "I won't kill you if you don't kill me."
"Really?" Jack asked.
"I promise..." Robert said.

Jack didn't say anything. He just nodded.

"Hurry up, we gotta grab and go!" Robert immediately said.

Jack grabbed the other knives, a random bag and headed off into the woods with Robert. Suddenly, they felt a rumbling noise coming from the main area where they just left.

"What was that?" Jack asked.
"It's the sound of the cornucopia being taken down," Robert said, "if we were there a minute longer, we would've been dead."
"Glad you knew that." Jack said.

Robert nodded in agreement.

The two of them then trekked deeper into the woods.

Phil

Phil ended up taking the dare and going through the cornucopia to get weapons and supplies. He was luckily able to grab some supplies and a gun before he was actually caught. He ran as fast as he could through the woods.

As soon as he knew he was safe, he sat down behind some bushes and took a break, panting for breath.

The entire first few minutes of the game were such a blur to him, he couldn't remember what happened.

He then became scared as he realized something.

He didn't know where Dan had gone, and he didn't know whether he was actually dead or alive.

Suddenly, he heard loud booming sounds, almost like cannons. He didn't know what the sound was, but he heard four of them before they suddenly stopped.

Robert

As Robert and Jack made his way through the woods, they were startled by four cannon blasts.

Jack looked at Robert.

"Four people have fallen." Robert responded.
"Do we know who?" Jack asked.
"We won't know until tonight." Robert said.
"But we were there." Jack said.
"I know." Robert said.
"Who were they?" Jack asked.
"I knew one of them..." Robert responded.
"Was he from your district?" Jack asked.

Robert didn't say anything. He just looked up ahead of him, where he noticed fog filling up in the distance. He immediately stopped Jack from going any farther.

"We shouldn't go in there." Robert said.
"I agree..." Jack said.

The two of them then turned to their left and continued walking, where they ended up going around the fog.
