I wake up to the sound of madness, pretty normal for a house with 4 teenage boys. I check the time to see it's already 10 am. I get up off the floor and head towards the noise.
"What's going on?" I ask when I walk into the living room where Michael's on top of Bryan.
"He took my phone again." Michael replies still fighting with Bryan.
"Bryan..." I say with warning in my tone. I swear sometimes I feel like I'm running a daycare or a football referee.
"Boys come eat!" Drake shouts from the kitchen. We all run in there.
"Dude, living with all boys doesn't make me one!" I shout running into the kitchen.
"Boys and Kyla, breakfast time." Drake says with a smirk.
"Okay Kyla, no need for the dramatics." Bryan says, coming next to me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. I shrug him off while looking at the food. Drake made bacon, eggs, sausage, toast, and mac 'n cheese. When I see the mac 'n cheese I run to it, don't judge, I never eat breakfast without the cheesy goodness.
"Sometimes I worry about you Kyla..." Dylan says with amusement when he notices my sudden movement towards my favorite food.
"Someone get me the orange juice." I snap after looking around the table noticing that the orange juice isn't out. I have already gotten my mac 'n cheese and sat down, there is no way I'm getting up to get the juice that should already be out. Michael sighs before getting out the orange juice.
"Lazy ass." He mutters under his breath as he hands me the juice. I ignore his comment shoving the mac 'n cheese in my mouth while they shovel food onto their plates. A knock on the door interrupts our silent eating, I get up to get it since I just finished eating. I open the door and see Talia standing there with a huge grin plastered across her face. She's wearing jean shorts and a pink crop top with her hair curled and pink heels on her feet.
"Can I help you?" I ask sarcastically.
"What's your middle name?" She asks casually.
"Nicole.... Why...?" I answer more like a question seeing as I'm very confused...
"Perfect!" She says before turning on her heel and walking away, leaving me standing here, confused.
"Who is it Kyla?" Logan asks coming up behind me, looking around with eyebrows raised.
"Um... Just Talia asking me a question..." I say closing the door, before walking back towards the kitchen.
"That neighbor girl?" He asks following behind me. I turn to glance back at him before nodding my head. "Damn, she's hot..."
"Ugh boys." I mutter as I enter the kitchen.
~~~~~~~
"TY-TY!!" I scream, running up to Tyson as soon as I see him, giving him a hug.
"Calm down Ky." Tyson laughs when I release him.
"We need to go check out the town now that you're here." Bryan says as the boys walk outside too.
"Okay Kyla, Dylan, and Logan are with me. Bryan and Michael, you're with Drake." Tyson says before walking off towards his car which was brought down by my parents' people. We all head towards either Tyson or Drake's car ready to start this adventurous day.
~~~~~~~
"What do you want, Kyla?" Tyson asks me.
"Just a burger and fries." I reply as he gets up to order our food.
"School tomorrow, ready for it Kyla?" Logan asks curiously.
"First day at a new school, best day ever." I reply, my voice dripping with sarcasm.
